The clamps are for mock up only. They will be changed out for a nicer set to make it all purdy.

Monday night I finished up the power steering lines. I'm not crazy about the routing but did not want to bend the return tube on the pump to much. Still trying to find some nice looking claps to do away with what I have now. I'm thinking about going with Kugel Komponents clamps but haven't made my mind up yet.

The heater delete plate form Oklahomaduner came in yesterday. Austin is a super nice guy to deal with.

Thanks but speaking of updates it has been a month and a half since your last pictures. You got to show us how close you are to sticking Patches in the mudhole.

Have not done alot lately to the truck. I did manage to get my new steering gear mounted. Also shortened the steering shaft to work with the power steering setup. All that is left is to weld the shaft to the steering coupler.

We have a few more weeks of football left so now I can work on the truck. Tonight I decided to grind down the welds from three months ago. Maybe in a few days I can install the column back in the truck.

Greg, did you remove the collapsable shaft?

This auto column was a one piece shaft. After mounting p/s gear I cut the shaft, slid it into the ragjoint coupler and tacked in place. Trucks equiped with p/s might have the collapsable shaft but i'm not sure.

I have a couple of lower shafts from 67-72 era trucks. On this column the only splines are located up by the steering wheel. It does not seperate like the later years. Thank you for the offer and maybe we can discuss it Saturday at the get together.
