Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Kids love riding in Blazers. Keep it until the baby is 2 and he/she will want to ride in the truck alll the time. My kids love it. My son (2) always wants to ride in daddy's bouncytruck. In fact, we were going out to dinner about a month ago and he was jumping around the house saying, "daddy ruck, daddy ruck!" When I told him we weren't taking the truck, he threw himself on the floor screaming and crying...
I say keep it. It will appreciate faster than the stock market! |

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
The dark blue isn't even a factory 2wd if I remember correctly. From the pics on his ad there are no trailing arms. I emailed him before he painted it earlier this year. I believe the bottom two pictures of the new ad showing the underside and when it was just primered were the pictures he posted on the previous CL ad.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
The blue one doesn't comapre too well after looking at the red one. Either way they are overpriced for todays market.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Here's a 73 that would be a good candidate for some customizing (beyond what has already been done). No price though :(

Here is a rough one that is probably being overlooked by a lot of people. 20 hours left and doesn't even have the $300 opening bid met yet.
Of course, rough might be an understatement!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-...1%7C240%3A1318 |

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I think the $5,000 shipping fee is killing the deal. I wouldn't agree to buy the truck with that in the listing - I'm not sure how legally binding it is.
The molded in top isn't very appealing either. What's the point of a non-convertible convertible? |
Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I don't think the shipping is killing the deal, I think the fact that the Blazer is such a mess is killing it.
Shipping issue aside, he is not out of line with his price. If it's a stock 2wd Blazer frame, the frame is worth $300. He listed his phone number, so clearing up the shipping deal would only take a minute. |
