Well, the founder of SAPP should be sure to post lots and lots of pics. It's basically a requirement now. Maybe there should be something in the SAPP bylaws that states "minimum of 1 pic per every 5 posts".:D

You and the wife were busy Sunday. I couldn't get my lazy tail out of the ol' recliner.

Hey! I've got an idea. You should be finished with yours by the summer so then you can start on mine and I can wait for you to post lotsa pics so it will feel like I am working on it!!

Nice work Joe!! Keep plugging away!!:metal:

I have the EXACT notches cut in my frame for a radiator, Joe. I wonder if there was some common type that got thrown in these trucks. Thats quite a bit of work you got done; I like airtools for quick disassembly.......

Jeff, I believe it had a 6 cylinder radiator in it, narrower, and when my father in law put the 283 in, he also put a v-8 radiator, which is wider.
here is what should have happened....
the rad mount (circled in red) needs the rivets removed and moved up to the hole (with the black arrow pointing to it. I will have to mod the upper mount also, because he mod-ed it to fit the radiator in there his way, and patch and weld the frame ;)

we didn't have air tools, but did have a 18v Dewalt cordless impact, the wife loves it
