the original plan was just clear over the bare metal... my buddies idea to do the flake.....him and i were the only ones who knew.....lot of people think it's crazy but cool..ill know more tomorrow...we have a free weekly car show here every weds....more people will c it, my club will tomorrow night also

i like it!!..def something you dont see everyday, in a good way.

only thing i would change is adding a color matched front rollpan...but i dig it either way!

what size tubing did you use for the bed floor?

my rollpan never looked right to me, never seemed to fit right either...i like my narrowed front bumper wayyyyyyy better

hot rod flat hugger chevy orange from tri city paint.....heres some more updates a picture of the spare tire pocket smoothed out and clean, my new lil center console, holds my phone,ipod and accuair remote.....and my glove box...wanted it to look more like the dash bezel...chrome edge, black and bumpy...it started all chrome, pinstripe tape first, then spackle spray paint, then black paint, then peeled the tape off....not sure i like it but hey, whatever......looks OK.....and more pictures of the paint job...ENJOY, I AM

Thats a bad suburban.I look at this truck and get pumped to work on mine.This truck sits and looks just right.Great job.

almost forgot...also painted the upper molding inner lines orange too,,instead of black...i like...and the rear shot makes the tailights look tinted or painted darker...nope, just stock

i did the same thing with my upper trim! mine is a olive green to match my interior! that close up pic on the pillar looks badass!

This burb is just absolutely SICK!!! Definite motivation for me to think outside of the box when building my sled. Ever considered making extra front bumper setups like this one and posting them for sale? I'd be in!!! :metal:
