Wow, truck looks great after the detail, not that it doesn`t look great anyhow. The Fiero looks pretty complete, interior looks pretty trashed. The car is blue, I will see if I can get a pic.

Did the fix for the door strikers last night and I'm completely amazed at how much it improved opening and shutting the doors its like opening/shutting a door to a different truck.

Took the trailer hitch off this evening along with the trailer brakes. I'm not going to pull anything with the K5 so I just took them off they weren't factory anyway.

NCTyphoonKid,
What kind of exhaust did you get installed? was it just a stock replacement? Upgraded?

nice k-5 im kinda jealous!!! lol. if you wanna go all out have your wheels polished at someone who restores and polishes aluminum wheels, possibly someone who does motorcycle wheels. i had mine done from a wonderful guy named dane. he does small scale chrome plating and anodizing and he did mine and they were completely awesome.he charged $80 a side for each wheel. the k-5 wheels you have were the same as i had and he said gm made those wheels in a spun aluminum fashion. some people call them center lines because of the way they are made. this is why i love old trucks, especially the k-5, because these trucks were made to be restored.:metal:

I think it looks great! Don't take this as an insult Korey, but I'm a little surprised to see a stock rebuild from a young dude. ;) Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.:chevy:

The key buzzer doesn't work on my Blazer currently. How did you fix it?

Mine the wire that tells you to buckle up on the drivers side seatbelt wasn't hooked up. Somebody could have pulled the buzzer out too

OSDCrusher 03-11-2012 12:32 AM

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

I will see if that wire is connected tomorrow, and check if the buzzer is installed or not.

Thanks

Not a problem and if the buzzer isn't there it probably wouldn't be too hard to find one
