Keep us posted on the progress.

From 8-12000 you can pick up a 2011 and up an all alum coyote motor with 6 speed trans.11 to 1 compression and over 400 hp stock.:metal:

Jake - nicely done on the bed. Great insight on it's application fitting your needs.

As for the above pic ... priceless.

Thank you if its old and very low I like it lol.I really liked the Vintiques on it allso but maybe a all chrome and set of wide whites next time.

All though I think the HAMB is a great site for great tech threads and learning how to.Being on that site made me hate stright axles drum brakes and steeles and wide whites so I had to take the truck in a different direction not way off but for sure off that track.I tried to stay a vintage look buy a grey vintage style wheel and I put flat centers on them to give them the old drag look but yes they are 20 in wheels.I also can't do finned valve covers and air cleaner just don't like them at all but sure woud ave went with the white walls the 50s are over as I see it.

(The rest of the truck was always going to look just as it does since the day I loaded on my trailer to bring it home)

"powermaster starter and a wildwood master" probably the smartest thing you could do.

Got to be a good feeling anyway despite the setback on the starter.

It's a lesson that you'll never forget though.

I just sold my '64 Fairlane 2 dr. sedan race car that was in the process of being updated to 25.1e but a guy came in & bought it. I was having problems with the chassis shop - as all racers have had & getting out of racing 100% was a God's send. I'm on the hunt now for a '64 F100 to play with. Not going to go as radical as you have but a little altitude drop & wheels/tires.

Great to see the work you have done and that you have reached the point it will move under it's own power.

Thank you.

I put on the powermaster starter it starts like a dream now with no noise.I must confess I had the solenoid too close to the block on the other starter and it was grounding out so I guess that was the noise I was hearing I am surprised at how long it lasted like that lol.

The Wilwood master comes to day so I can get started on getting my brake issue resolved.
