Looks great...Those little set backs are a pain but it is funny how easily you forget about them during the first few miles on that maiden voyage.

The interior looks great..

Really good to see you still at it.

The small refinements all add to your enjoyment in the end.

Burb is looking good! Here's an idea with your misfire code. I had that same code pop up on my Camaro and it ended up being hairline cracks in the porcelain of the spark plugs. I had recently installed headers on my car and did it without taking the plugs out and had, unknowingly, damaged a couple of them. I took them back out and inspected them and noticed the little cracks. It's worth a shot if you haven't checked them yet.

Re: 1966 Suburban...Sort of...Trailblazer SS SWAP

That was one of the items I replaced when this issue presented itself. I have new plugs, and wires. It could be a faulty coil pack or maybe a fuel pump. I just don't want to keep chucking $100 bills at this, hoping to solve my issue.

I'm very confident some run time on a dyno will give me the info I need to move forward.

Thanks for the advice!!

Then I sprayed those in Raptor Liner like the floors. Installed my ipod player stereo. Threw the hood on, got the Vintage Air heat working. Ill get the A/C squared away in a few months. My biggest setback is that im still throwing the Check Engine code P0300 (multiple misfire). Im going to get some time schedule at the local tuning gurus dyno to see if he can better diagnose the issue, as im tires of just blindly throwing parts at this hoping it solves the problem.

I just noticed that snazzy rug you have in the shop. It certainly adds a little class to your work space.

My wife wanted to throw it out. I thought how nice it would be rather than laying/kneeling on the floor. And it really ties the room together!

Re: 1966 Suburban...Sort of...Trailblazer SS SWAP

UPDATE: Soooo, I took the burb to the local dyno yesterday to work on tuning the few issues I had out. After about 5 pulls on the dyno, he felt like he had solved the problem. He got the burb off the rack and we took it our for a ride. As soon a we got out on the county road, the motor lunched itself and destroyed the #7 piston, scattering the remains all through the motor. Brand new motor, complete garbage.... Im currently in touch with the motor builder to see what he wants to do. I feel that it could have been sub par pistons installed, but we will see.

Im pulling the motor this weekend. More info to come....

The motor is in. Everthing is hooked up. I thought it might be prudent to have my tuning guy take one last look at my tune before lighting this off. The motor failed just after a tuning session so i want to be 100% sure the failure wasnt tune related. I would hate to go through all of this and have the same thing happen again.

Hopefully, ill be up and running by mid week!
