Got some feelers out for a website designer. i want to talk to someone that has a clue and what is involved. I get these ideas and never follow thru. Something has to be done to get me out on my own. |

Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic
I chewed since high school. Quit like 3 times always started up again. Every time I started again it was harder to quit. Haven't chewed in 3 years. Had to use the patch to quit this last time. The patch makes it easy. I'm done chewing.:metal: All this talk about dipping makes you want one huh. Good luck, get some patches.:waah:

I quit smoking after me & my wife got married. Lost 20lbs at the same time. I still don't smoke but I eat like a pig. I probably lost 400 lbs since then. 20lbs at a time. :haha:

Hey Alan I haven't had a dip of nicotine in over a year, been dipping Cope for 25 years. I used the patch and this stuff..

Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic
I actually quit for 6 months and for some stupid reason I started again. This time is a little easier. I don't want to quit cold turkey. I get very irritated and edgy.
If you use the patch you can quit the chew and you won't be edgy or irrtated because your still getting the nic. Then you just step the patches down. It takes the thought of chewing out of the picture. Nicotine is a tough thing to stop. Chew is even harder because it has like 3 times the amount of nicotine as smokes.:smoke: I'm glad I quit. Now just I'm hooked on Rockstar, trucks, hunting, and porn. |

Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic
After many hours trying to find a 64 or 65 C10 truck the color of this Chevelle..........I gave up ?????????
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...capes1/L01.jpg So then I borrowed this truck.........And gave it a new paint job !!!!!!!!!! http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...s1/1965RED.jpg Came up with this.....Its close in color anyway.....Owner's probably going to be pissed, when he comes out in the morning and his truck is a different color :haha: http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...965REDblue.jpg |
Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic
That looks good. It's good to have a color someone else "that you know of" has not done yet.
|
Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic
Yes, but that Chevelle makes me sick. Not because I don't like it, but because I almost bought a 66 that color with a 396 when I was 19. My friend talked me out of it saying it sounded like a throwout bearing was going out. At 19 that seemed like a big deal.Young and dumb! I saw one just like it at a car show last night and was reminded how much I liked that color

Cut off the chain hooks and welded the holes up along with the other holes Saturday. Took the T/G to work and got to do some work to it. It's a PITA sanding all of the corners and letters. Got some pitting in the corner and elsewhere but this is the worse place as far as pitting. A lot of pitting along the pinch welds. http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...d/DSC00662.jpg Final (3rd) wipe on the O/S. The letters might need some work. I hope they prime out. http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...d/DSC00663.jpg |

At least your getting stuff done on this build. It's kinda hard to have 2 build threads going on at the same time. Keep up the good work Allan.
