Its to bad these weigh so much or I would have done this long ago. I have these brand new Cat turbos laying around like cord wood.

I can't wait to see your take on doing this.

raull 12-09-2011 11:13 AM

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

holly molly !!! that one would be cool to use on an inline six

69CST-V 12-09-2011 11:20 AM

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

That's 114mm turbo will supply up to an 11 liter Cat. Might be a tad to much for the IL-6. Or maybe not. Hmmmm

raull 12-09-2011 11:23 AM

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

itll just be cool for the wow factor !!!

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

Raull -- are you planning on painting your truck or just going with it as is? It looks great, I'm just curious if you're going to dig into the body or color change, etc.

I say stay with the white. It looks killer with the wheels.

raull 12-09-2011 01:55 PM

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

yes im repainting it white again , that was the plan from the get go lucky for me it was white already but it has some rust spots to be taken care of and then repaint the whole truck
