Thanks. I got the radiator cover from a boardmember and the grill opening came from a place in Oregon call Northwest Auto Fab. I have links to them both in the 68 S/C build thread.

Perfect that really makes everthing look so clean. Very nice set up you have there Mr.

Welcome.. Trucks sounds like it moves out pretty good..

So, when you say stock suspension:
Factory rear spring location?
Factory rear shock location?
Rear lower control arm front mounting point is in the stock location?
Using factory front suspension mounting points?

Can you tell us a little about the power plant?

The rear trailing arms are reinforced stock, coil-over shocks in stock shock
location for rear, anti-roll bar. Front suspension was stock except for QA1 single adjustable shocks in stock location and Moroso trick springs for a Chevelle. The engine is an 540cid 14.5:1 with 2 foggers. I was running M/T drag radials on that pass as well. I hope to improve those times with lighter front suspension, bolted in stock location. Relocate rear coilovers to work
properly, and using knowledge gained through tuning on other cars to use more of the engine. Should be fun when completed.

A few more pics.
I really had not done a lot to remove weight. The only fiberglass is the hood. Everything else is steel. It does have a chromoly FAB9 rearend housing, and wilwood brakes on the rear. Still had factory disc brakes on the front the last time it was at the track. The new front suspension is almost done in these photos. The bottom of the front bumper is 8 inches above the floor!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think we all understand the countless hours and $$$'s that goes into a project like this, and to hear your peers compliments is cool. I am very impressed with the quality of trucks on this site. Until Kevin told me about the site, I thought I was one of the only people crazy enough to race our trucks. LOL At least that is what the car guys say........Thanks again, Paul Baxter

Bellflower-What are the spec's on the rear suspension and wheels/tires? As well as what headers are you using? I have a 91 rcsb that has a 496 going in and I was just going to get headers for the 90-93 454 ss but wondering if there are other options. More pictures would be great too!
Thanks!

Here's a couple pics. of mine as it sits during mock up of rear suspension...note high tech cardboard box, throw rug and tape to hold rear sheet metal in place so I can see approx. ride height.

That's the only recent pic I got for now. I'm still working on the front grille. I want it completely blocked off, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it...I want it to look good too.

Thanks man, I love her! It has a 440ci originally built and used in a dirt late model. Estimated 550 horse at the motor. It has a Turbo 400 for tranny and a 9 inch rear.
