Finally got around to installing the bracket and have ran into the same issue. Did drilling new holes solve your problem? I’ve thought about it but not liking the position of how it’ll sit

I had the same problem, I ended up having another plate welded to the bracket for the pedal assembly to bolt to, and cut off the plastic pedal and drilled a hole for the rod from a factory style pedal to slide into. It’s drilled/bolted and epoxied to the plastic base.

It should be clisr.close. You might hsve to adjust the pedal mounting holes.

I ordered one of these and painted it and it does not work. the description states it will work with 03-09 suv/truck pedals. however my 2006 suburban pedal is all wrong for this. it doesn't even come close to fitting.... even if i redrill new holes, the overall shape of the pedal and arm are such that it will not allow movement of the pedal. So i went on rockauto and i see that many other suv pedals look exactly like mine. And heres the bad part. Even if i am able to source an earlier model pedal, say one from 2004 (which according to rock auto pics is the one i need) won't i also need the throttle actuator control module thing also? it looks like my pedal and TAC control have different connectors from other pedals. Is there any other workaround? Looks like these have been sold for about 6 years. Why is it that I am having this issue just now? My bad luck? or what?

UPDATE, the seller is going to have me try the corvette style pedal bracket. I will update when i give that a try.

Any idea how my 2002 Escalade pedal would be different? It looks similar. Mine is a non-adjustable height version, which is better.

Also, how did you add the chrome trimmed pedal that looks similar to Cheyenne pedals? I’ll want to do that as mine is solid black.

It should be the same pedal. The 71/72 CST pedal will fit on your DBW pedal.

Awesome. Thank you. Would your bracket work with mine, but maybe need holes in a different spot to align? My pedal looks like the others I’ve seen For your brackets, but I may be missing something.
