Maybe when both the upper and lower moldings are ordered they kick it up a notch with the woodgrain addition. Maybe SS Tim can wade in on this. All Good Coley:chevy: |
Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
My truck is a non package highlander with the original black mouldings. I was thinking maybe the Package Highlander trucks got the woodgrain moulding but this truck is not a Package truck. Maybe it was plant specific thing.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Already gone, green plaid trim is on the spid. So it isn't a package highlander, just the seat upholstery highlander

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
The original gold is on the firewall. Looks more like a Cadillac champagne type color to me

To generalize, a Custom Deluxe (with optional lower bodyside moldings) had black lower moldings and a Highlander could have had woodgrain. So if you see a Custom Deluxe with woodgrain there is a really good chance it is a Highlander. Please I'd like to suggest if you have Highlander questions to post them in my Plaid truck thread and leave this thread to what it is intended for, an ad discovery listing. |

This was my $600 craigslist score. 90% original 1969 longhorn! Came with a 327 swapped to a 350. She sat for 25 years till I limped her home and I drive it everyday since!:metal::chevy: |

Seems like a good price, although no shots of the frame/engine bay. |
Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I've been staring at the one in Louisville since it posted yesterday....
|
Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Wow ,that is a nice one .

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Well, I had the money all lined up for the one in Louisville, but when I called he sighed real deep and said, "Naw, it's done been sold...". Sounded like he was tired of phone calls, so I'm guessing he had no shortage of interest. The listing is still there as of now, but apparently its gone.
