Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Been in touch with Daveboyd here on the board. For those that hadn't heard of him he builds aluminum fuel tanks. He is in the process of redesigning the tank for a new improved version. Here is a LINKY to an older offer he had. He told me he will have another group buy as soon as he has the new tank design completed.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
I had a bright idea last night.........I wanted to see if I could locate a 3/8" 90 to a -6 AN for my fuel pump outlet. I tried to find one and had Shannon try and they don't exist. It would make it easier to run my hard line from the pump.

Talked to JeffCPP he seams like he will be a great asset to us for CPP. He just signed up to the board a couple weeks ago. I'm willing to give CPP another try as long as I can deal with him.;) Got a hold of the header guy, he is supposed to come buy Saturday. |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10
I think CPP is starting to get better service. They signed up on C10forum too helping guys out. So hopefully they get better.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Thanks to Greg65 for sending 95light my way. He bought my SWB frame. It was a pleasure meeting you Jeremy. Good luck with the frame. Thanks Greg!! More money for the project. Now I just need to prioritize my need list.
The header guy stopping by. He does more that headers. He builds roll cages, frames, narrows rearends etc. He doesn't build engines, trans or rearends for the public. Too many headaches. He's a cool guy that loves cars. He's located here in Ball Ground. I didn't know this little city had all of this talent. He could fix my headers, but by the time I pay him and have them recoated I could have some name brands. I figured as much, but I had to check all options. Plus I added another person to my network.;) On too my shopping list.:chevy: |

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
The inlet tube is chrome plated, but I want to put a slight bend in it to clear the water outlet. I'm afraid the chrome will start flaking off.
http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...k/DSC02051.jpg http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...k/DSC02002.jpg Don't these look the same? Mine on top and Flowtechs 31504FLT on bottom. I thought I had ebay specials. http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSC02050.jpg http://static.summitracing.com/globa...31504flt_w.jpg I'm still trying to find a dust boot that goes on the firewall where the brake pushrod comes thru. I really don't know what it is supposed to look like. The one in the middle came off of this wedge plate that I'm not going to use. JeffCPP sent me the new boot (no charge) to see if it would work (thanks Jeff), but it looks like a clutch rod boot since it is angled. What is evryone else using? I can't find anybody selling this item. http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/DSC02047.jpg http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/DSC09180.jpg Also talked to ???????? to get the process rolling on my fuel tank. Does anybody have deminisions for the fuel tank in the back. This is the measurements I'm using. It is off ????? page. The only change I need to make is the front-back measurement. Instead of 19" mine needs to be 17 1/2". The fill pipe will be for a side fill. http://www.boydwelding.com/Images/Ho...20STANDARD.jpg |

Still driving myself crazy on the fuel line. I did discover a manual fuel pump that has pipe threads for the inlet and outlet. Link to Summit's PN SUM 250020-1 http://static.summitracing.com/globa...0000-1_w_m.jpg This will fix my AN problems at the pump. I can get a 90* pipe to AN to go up to the carb. http://static.summitracing.com/globa...220251_w_m.jpg What about thoughts of a 1"spacer under the carb to raise the line up to clear the heater hose connection? Still thinking.......... |

I finally got some stuff on order. Come-on Big Brown truck.
Had a nice little snow here. It's not much compared to what some get, but it made for a great photo day. Here is the LINK to some pics I shot today. Here is a teaser shot http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...0/DSC_0111.jpg |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Great pictures. Today the family had a snow ball fight for the first time since moving to Georgia. My bulldog didn't know what to make of the white stuff but she played more than the kids did.

Looking for some painted bumpers front/rear for a 65 fleet. I've searched a couple places (websites). The only repops I can find are chrome. Perfer local pickup, but here is my zip just in case 30107. |
