My stepper is getting way to much time on the lift with those many little and not so little things.

Thanx Brother!!! Still gotta address various issues but at least driveable... You'll get yours off the lift soon!

Yesterday I decided to install the lowering springs I traded for...:uhmk:

Quick and easy as compared to removing the originals...;) Here's a comparison shot of the '70 Chevelle springs I installed during the build process, and the CPP lowering set...

...and a comparison pic of the truck with the different springs... top is with the taller ones...

...the Chevelle springs seemed a bit loose and the CPP springs seem a bit more stout... new Rear shocks are in the forecast...:chevy:
That's all for this installment...:mm:

The new rear drop looks good! Maybe bring the nose down just a hair now?

Like the stance. Is the ride quality the same or is it stiffer?

Thanx Greg!!! Ride quality seems fine, the rear is a bit stiffer, but it needed to be. The Chevelle rear spring just weren't stout enough...:uhmk: Stay dry!!!

Not much happening recently, been busy with life...:sumo:

I did find a bag of rubber stops I'd ordered through Brother's a few years ago... Found some stops for the Gas door I added as well as new Hood bumpers and Glove-box bumps...:metal: There are 2 flat stops and 4 larger stops that have defied my reasoning as to where they go...:banghead:
Here's a pic, so if anyone has an idea, please reply...

Started out today snapping this pic with a tea/coffee mug Rian brought me last year...;)

Then I had to indulge in a chocolate/Caramel treat also courtesy of Rian from this year's trip...:bann:

Hey Bro.
Looks like you are enjoying a little Holy leisure today.

Stepper's stance is looking good to me.

I've been scrounging parts for the 62 and putting together some old digital camera equipment for use out in the shop. I'm not liking trying to use my phone for documenting my slow progress.

Curly wurly, one of the 4 main food groups, right up there with coffee, tobacco and alcohol

Truck looks great levelled out :metal: I think the rubbers are the door stops that go in the small holes in the door jamb ??

I'm not sure about the flat bumpers, but the 4 other taller ones are for the doors, 2 on each side. Should be holes in the cab door jamb for them to fit into.

Man, I gotta get me some of them…

Like the update, the ride height looks perfect. Bet its more fun working on the truck when you're not under the gun. Fun is just one of the rewards…. Keep after it bro.

...Oh yeah, almost forgot... 4 of the rubber pieces I asked about are now installed in both door jambs, sorry no pic... Still have the 2 flat ones, still at a loss for where they go...:chevy:

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Cool little hot wheel.

Do those 2 flat ones go on the dash in the upper corners of the glove box opening? The ones for the glove box door to hit against when its closed?
