That dust boot looks like the one I should have tomorrow from Jeff. I think that one is slips over the end of the MC. Not sure, but it might work.

To me, your headers look just like the Flowtech ones.

We got snow here on Thursday night and Friday morning. I had 7 inches at my house. I do not know when we had that much before. It is rare in East Texas...Kids got out of school and work shut down, so we had some fun and threw snowballs too.

I looks like the same carb/fuel line you are using. Looks like his cleared that water outlet fitting...

The angle of that boot is throwing me off. I ordered another from truckandcarshop.com among other things.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out real quick at lunch. His water fitting is a long one. That would diffenately help. I'm going to check it out some more.

Had to go see if the radiator would fit. It's sitting on a 3/4" piece of wood. It fits in the hole. I plan on using the 67-72 truck radiator saddles and top hold downs.

Good you will really like the fit. Only thing I dont like is the left hooker is a little close to the oil filter

Thanks Ronnie, it's supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. I'll try to make some progress, but still holding on some parts. Trying to locate some saddles. Sokyclassics.com is the best price so far $45.

Are you going to use an anode in that radiator, or is the aluminum going to be a problem with the engine's block material?

Don't know, Kid. Talking out my butt - last custom aluminum radiator maker I had quote one for my 65' Tan truck said if I went that way I should put an anode (zink I think) where the normal radiator petcock is located, because of the difference in the materials.

Again, I'm guessing - maybe the special juice is enough (?)

Another little bit of supposed information:

(When running an aluminum radiator or any aluminum parts in contact with the water jacket, make sure to run a sacrificial anode (usually zinc) to prevent the electro-displacement of the aluminum. This will save the aluminum parts, in short.)

Allan it's looking great. Good info Mac. I never thought of that. We have an anode in our Toy Hauler's water heater. It wears out so check it periodicity.

Thanks Guys for the comments. Thanks Mac for the heads up. I'll go read those links tonight I hope. Just a quick post here to let ya'll know about the headers. I'm going crazy. I believe alot of my problems, if not all are the CPP perches. I need the front tube to go up and back. I got my Hookers today and test fitted the left side. I couldn't even get a bolt started. I'm going to write CPPJeff and see if they recommend a certain header. Also do some searching.

You can see the tube hitting the frame, but even if it didn't the perch would.
