No kidding. I'm looking into putting up a building to clear out some space. The only problem is that I have no space here and my other larger property is 30 minutes away. I don't want my cars that far away from me. I'm afraid that I'll never drive them. Kind of like I do right now.

It's tough to drive 9 cars when you never go anywhere.

I've had people ask me why I have so many cars? Easy answer. Because I like them and I have a very forgiving wife. :)

Nothing wrong with that! ;)

I once dated a girl named Piranha. No kidding. That was her real name and she lived up to it. That was fun. I still have the scars. :)

I knew a gal named Mercedes. She had great upholstery and had a really smooth ride.

Indeed. I loved all those SS396 cars, and then the SS454 cars later, when I worked at the dealership(s). My wife had a '69 Nova when I met her. Sad to say, I sold it back in the early '90s. 250 CI six with a PG. I put AC and power disc brakes on it. Shoulda coulda woulda. Got $1k for it, with 201k miles on it.

Speaking of 396 cars…

My factory 68 396 shortbed is currently sitting in a shop next to a VERY original factory 68 SS 396 el camino. They are becoming good friends.

That's a new one on me. I wonder how rare they are? Only ones I have seen around here are gray. There were red squirrels in the midwest but I believe they were larger than our grays.

It is, pink eyes and all.

We commonly see "gray" squirrels in black as well as gray, but this is the first albino I've seen. This was taken at our cabin on a lake in northern Wisconsin. We have lots of small reds (also commonly called pine squirrels depending where you live).

We also have lots of eagles that sit in a couple 100 year plus pines at the lakeshore. I was walking to the lakeshore a few years ago when one dove from a pine attempting to snag one of several goslings swimming with mom and dad. You should have seen the geese successfully defend their brood!

I've also seen a couple albino deer. However, the coolest rare coloration critter I've seen is a piebald deer. Absolutely gorgeous!

^ You do not want to mess around with geese, that's for sure! Growing up, I had a friend with a pet goose. NOBODY went in their back yard without a family member present.

So true! The cartoon where the ducks are dancing all over the place, right up until hunting season opens up, and they all vanish, comes to mind. Man, I haven't seen that cartoon in a duck's (great-great grandpa's) age!

Never seen an albino squirrel, but I have seen an albino ground hog. I guess any mammal can be born as one. Great picture.

I bought this hood in June and it rode in my Suburban until I came up with a place to store it (in Aug). Then there was no one around when I needed to unload it. I easily slid it onto the wheelbarrow, no sure how well it would ride on there, and it turned out to ride perfect. Good balance and all, like it was made for that!

I need to walk the swap meet before setting up the truck at the shows. If I had that hood would be here.

Such a nice area, although I didn't get around much. We took a loop around the lake, ended up going over the closest mountain that is in their view, the NW River runs between. From that mt we could see the White Mts in NH. He said on a clear day you could see Mt. Washington. It would be nice to find a small place up there near them.
