Yes we make our own . Have to mix in pork no fat on venison. Friend has a commercial sausage maker used to use the kitchenaid with the attachment very slow .

That sausage does look really good. Is that commercial sausage grinder chain drive? We do sausage at a friend's place who got one out of a place that closed down. Huge motor.

Yuck. It's bad enough to think about what's in hot dogs. :lol: I don't care I'll eat them anyway. I eat Chorizo and you know what that looks like. Like a turd wrapped in plastic. But it is tasty and I don't want to know what's in it. Some things are just better with no questions asked.

I have the Kitchen Aid thingy. It is really slow at grinding meat. Painfully slow. I need a better one. But it will just be another thing taking up space. I'll use it maybe once a year.

My random pic... Finally got my S10 home. It's pretty much what I expected. Not a total POS but it's a POS. I have to figure out what to do with it. The hood is toast and the grille is not looking to good either. And it won't start. Isn't that special. But for $500 I'm taking a shot. Maybe I can do something with it.

I bought off my friend who is completely insane. Nicest guy in the world but he's a nut. I was cleaning the junk out of the cab, cigarette butts, beer cans, some ripped up IRS papers, and bullets. Not a surprise. I was expecting worse.

No kidding. But these were only .22's and just a few of them. I am going to sell the camper shell. Maybe make a couple of bucks on that. I'd rather have the bed open. Now I just have to find a hood. The grille is 50/50 on whether I can fix it or not.

My plan is to just make it my beater. It has the 2.2 four banger in it so it should get some decent mileage and I wont have to worry about scratching it up.

I don't know what make that first one is. Daihatsu? Every few years I'll see a passenger vehicle made by Daihatsu. There sure aren't that many, but they must sell them here somewhere. I've never seen a dealership. Maybe they sell them at the heavy equipment dealerships.

My sister moved her family to Idaho in the early-90s. They bought one of those Toyota Tercel 4wd mini vans. Pretty unique for the time as well as ahead of it's time. But damn was that thing funky looking? Reminded me of the vans they'd drive in those tacky Japanese monster shows like Gigantor or Ultra-man. But I think they were driving Corvair Vans! :lol:

The reason that you don't see Daihatsu's is that they were overpriced. They had a reputation as being well built cars and priced them too high. And they were ugly as sin. Nobody bought them. Hyundai had the right idea with those POS Excel's. That got their foot in the door in the US market. Really low priced cars. Now they're beating Toyota. Very smart marketing if you ask me. You can't pick up chicks if you can't get into the party. Hyundai got in and Daihatsu went away.

Maybe they were better. But they were ugly. Might as well buy a Yugo.

Went to an antique truck show yesterday. Last week I went to C&O Canal Dam #5, on the MD side of the Potomac where the canal is. I wanted to check out Dam #4 on my way home. I decided since I was on the WVA side I'd explore my way to see the powerhouse side.
