65 yes they are pig tailed and they are smoother probably because they are light duty springs, but they pop right in and you can get em cheap on e bay.

Yeah, flew to Kansas last fall and drove it back to Michigan. 3 speed man. trans gave out in Indiana, about four hours from home. long story short, bad trans led to new v-8 ( in place of 235 straight 6) and new powerglide trans. Once the chop is complete I'll put on the new 671 mega blower w/ eight velocity stacks and stick it through the hood! :metal:

Gotta comment again, your rig looked perfect in the first pic...way to re-invent your ride and not settle.

I'll repeat it, keep us in the loop, great project. Those blower pulleys look tough even without the blower...didn't think you could run it like that. Does it whine and howl as if the blower was installed???

No whine w/ this set up. this is called a gilmer belt drive. I think its made by pro comp. Thanks for the compliments, pic from rednose is what it looked like when I got it, just trying to put my spin on it and make it "mine". I'll have to get all my pics together and start a build thread......

Does anyone have a pic of the dark blue 66 custom cab big window that used to be on the early classic enterprises web site? All I can find are the stance photos in black and white.
