I'm not promoting it... It's another crew cab, that's what I thought this thread was for

OK Guys would you keep the wheels or would you change over to one ton?
If so WHY?
As far as changing tires. There are very few people who will change split rim wheels! They Run when I pull up. "Sorry INSURANCE will not let us change those" They call them Widow Makers"
DO I have any options on other rims that may fit this the way it is.
YES This is a serious question. I saw a solid ring (non split rim)that was on a Firetruck one time, but the guy knew nothing about where to get them and how to mount them.
I know some of you have more info for help on this one.
THanksAttachment 850832

Go check over here, Somebody maybe able to help you with changing your wheels over.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Two options I can think of. Take it to a small town tire shop. Especially a town with several farmers. Those tire shops will change them out faster then a new style rim. If you want to change them contact a drivetrain store tell them what you have and they will tell you what you need.

My plans are converting to 4x4. Dropping in a Cadillac 500 ci.

It will be used as a tow rig.

Limited Edition? Anybody have info?

A year and a half later. 4wd done, Caddy engine done, almost ready for paint. Man... there is a lot of surface area on these things.

trucks so big it makes those tires look small. in the first pic I recognized the tread pattern, but couldn't believe they're 37s, they look small. Side pic they look big though. That's what I was thinking of doing with mine, I've got dually axles under it, which is cool, but I cant do much about bigger tires, so the 6" in the front looks kind of funny with little weenie tires. I thought to fit 37s I'd have to put in a bodylift, but yours looks to clear them up front ok.

The PO had the motor built, I don't know the specs. Much more power than stock though. It's just old pin striping on the windshield, it used to have a bowtie in the center. Haven't bothered removing it because it needs a new windshield (faded to gold at the top).

About three inches of lift, tires measure about 36". They are a 9.00x16 bias ply.
