The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My project. 1962 Chevy Panel Truck C30 long body. Hope to make this into a traveling machine. Came with factory air conditioning which surprised the heck out of me. Since I do not see any options for converting a one ton to disc brakes i may be looking for a modern drive train to graft in.

Or just a 10 digit gird cordinate! I looked everywhere around there and only found a few junkers

I saw this truck at tire shop in Oak Cliff. It really caught my eye. I stopped and asked if it was for sale, but they said it belonged to a customer.

Thanks, the paint is black cherry, the metallic and red only shows in bright sun

Nice truck, I like the color...the box on the saw horses looks sanitary, short wide isn't it?? What's the new project?

Thx man. The box is actually another long box. Must be an optical illusion. It's down to the metal and needs to be cleaned up and put in primer. Procratinating that one. The new project is a 64 long bed fleetside. 89,000 original miles. :metal:
