Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
Looking good, cant wait to see it all in that blue, I always wanted to paint a vehicle that exact color!

Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
Wow!
Great build! Are you keeping the engine stock or are you adding a cam or other mods to it? Very cool! |
Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
The bottom end is gonna stay stock for now. The cam I went with is from cam motion. Its a custom grind 240/248 Duration 612/595 Lift on a 110 LSA RPM range is 3500-6500. i purchased some 650 lift springs to go with the cam. I'm going to run a carb intake as seen about with the LSX controller and Dynatech Headers 1 7/8 in. Primaries with a 3 in. Collector. Behind all that is a 400 turbo.

Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
lookin good man. im putting a ls6 in my 70 shortwide. i went with TEA heads and a eps cam. i still need to order my intake and controller box to go carbed. you gonna take it to tulsa or okc
|
Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
and what headers did you get?
|
Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
The Headers I purchased are Dynatech LSX Swap Headers for earlier Camaros. Real easy to find on there website. I actually ordered them through Summit Racing. Thanks for all the compliments guys! I've normally ran my stuff at Noble Raceway. Its nothing special, but it serves its purpose. I'd like to go to Tulsa sometime if the truck ever gets done lol!

Have any of you heard of Hotrods To Hell? They sell a suspension pkg that would be right up your alley.
Check it out:http://www.hotrodstohell.net/truckar...karm_index.htm |

My guess is with those valve events and single plain intake, that motor is going to make peak power closer to 7k. |
Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
Truck looks good! I'm interested in the LSX stuff myself. Good luck with it!

Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
Are you gonna have to flycut for that cam?

Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build
