Re: Lets Play Whatz It? !!
My father Has this ratchet set that his father gave to him. Most of its part's are pretty normal looking Stamped sockets And it came in a leather case.
The universal joint adapter was the one that stuck out in my mind, and when I saw this thread I decided to go look on the internet for a picture. My father has a large quantity of Old tools That one day He will give to me and I will give to my son. My family on my Fathers side were from Michigan. He and my Grandfather both worked for G.M, Grand pa Was A tool and die maker and when G.M came up with a new part they would go to him (and others) For ways to set up various jigs and molds for the mass production of said part. My Father worked in the Gear and axle division assembling Axles. His dad got him the job and he worked there for awhile until he packed up and moved to Arizona. |

Don't think they make valve springs that little but good guess none the less. :) I didn't know, before searching, and I didn't even have the parts name obscured! :) |

Well ET, I would have been most happy to trade places with ya today !!! After four hours of scrounging around in two different hot tin roof out buildings, I was about to give up when determination prevailed. I found that hammer knocker shoved way up under a work bench against the wall..... Here's my Whatz It? http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/100_7016.jpg http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/100_7017.jpg http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/100_7014.jpg |
