Just Dashes replacement gauges - anyone have them?

I was really excited when I found this recently...

http://www.justdashes.com/Images/88--91-Chevy_a_s.jpg

Here is a link to their website...

Then I called them, and they told me they stopped making them. Sucks!

Anyone know of another vendor selling something similar? I prefer to not buy used gauges, but I want something stock-looking...

I have heard that those look good installed, but cheap plastic is NOT for me.

I have their combination gas and tach, and I couldn't be happier.

I dont understand the dislike of the GM sportsalvage gas/fuel combo tach having a plastic face. The whole cluster is plastic. Once it is installed, you cant even tell its plastic. Once it is installed, its enclosed behind the lense where nothing can get to it. The needles are what you need to be carefull with weather it has a plastic face or metal face.

That's the look I want! Since I have "idiot lights" now, I went for the complete gauge setup. Gas gauge moves to the lower left small hole, and tach replaces gas gauge.

Wonder if I'll miss the giant red light telling me that my e-brake is on? Probably not....

I also did the tack fuel gauge. I love mine . Have no problem with what they are made of. If someone did not tell you, you could not tell the diffrence. I paid $199.00 for just the tack fuel gauge plus shipping. I felt I was better off than buying a used $200.00 cluster and hoping it worked .

Thats not bad for the whole setup....Considering just a tach from LMC is $129

Will you please post up a pic of that when it's in the truck? It doesn't take much imagination to "see" it there, but still. I like it, but wonder if they can or will adjust the redline. So I don't have to do a home remedy.

I think I have a pic of it with the bezel sitting over it at home. I won't be able to post a pic of it in the truck; I sold it with my LS setup.

Before, after, and close up.

Thanks, looks good. I don't want or need one yet but hope they'll customize the redline if I decide to change.

Seems like they are made to order, so that might be possible.

OK everyone, an update on this garbage I got from GM Sports Salvage...

The pod of four small gauges does not even begin to fit... See pictures below that I took today... the black bezel does not fit over these gauges... they will not work with the factory printed circuit board... This is not a "plug and play" deal. Frankly, there is no way to make it work... Sending it back tomorrow... VERY disappointed... Back to the drawing board!

How easy was the install? Did it basically drop in? I want a tach also but the ones LMC sells dont have the gas gauge in it and then you also have to replace the circuit board.
I dont mind spending money like that if it works as advertised. This is the only one available correcT? http://gmsportssalvage.com/?q=node/1530

That fit is ridiculous. How can they even sell it like that? Makes no sense

Re: Just Dashes replacement gauges - anyone have them?

What did the directions say? The tach took a little trimming to fit, but it wasn't major. About 15 minutes or so, and it was done.

Re: Just Dashes replacement gauges - anyone have them?

After studying this all day, I have come to the conclusion that these gauges will only work to replace existing gauges, not idiot lights. I do not have a gauge dash to compare to, but they must be very different...

I have decided that this is more trouble than I need. I will put the idiot light dash back in, and buy an oil pressure and water temp gauge to mound under the dash, aftermarket style. Don't need a tach with my new auto trans I guess...

Hope I get my money back without hassle...
