Project "Rolling Rock"
I lost my father this past summer due to his struggles with cancer and I decided to dedicate this build to him. My father taught me the deference between right and wrong honesty and hard work. I grew up a meager lifestyle in a rural community in the 70's and early 80's an era where everyone seemed to have a hotrod. I was never fortunate enought to have a hotrod because of school and money but now some things have changed and i want what couldn't have then so I purchased a 68 swb c 10 and let the journey begin.
This will be my first frame off rebuild so I have spent countless hours on this forum researching which way to go only to change direction a 1000 times. The hardest thing was to pick a style and choosing a color. So basicially this truck will show influences of some great builders from this forum N2billit- Dino -Delmo-SuperFly-C10 King-lolife99-Hot trux and many many more. So with help from this forum and some close friends maybe we can get this thing done someday. I will add to the list of things I want to get done as time allows(and Money haha). Everything powder coated flat black Powder coat frame (done) Porterbuilt inch forward tubular arms (done) D52 wilwood front brakes (done) Black slotted drilled rotors front and back (done) PB shock brackets front (done) Porterbult stadge two rear suspension (done) PB tubualar trailing arms 3 inch drop (done) PB crossmember (done) Captain fab rear disc (done) Rear d52 wilwood (Done) new brake lines Moser axels (done) Moser bearing kit (done) Boyd rear tank(done) PB hood hinges Wilwood master cylinder |
