I couldn't find one of these for 60-66 (like we have in the 67-72 section). Mods please merge if there is one. Post 60-66 craigslist like, description, pic if possible (because once they get pulled from CL, they're GONE!)
A little rough, but here's one you don't see every day, a 65 bbw stepper. http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5960219608.html |

^^ A GMC dash. Interesting. No engine pics, either.

Re: Post you 60-66 craigslist finds
Only $7500 for this non-running, taken apart, rusty POS.

Doesn't mean much, though. At least it has a title. If it's your truck- sorry. |

I started one a few years back for just Oregonians:

Re: Post you 60-66 craigslist finds
thanks LostMy65 - I didn't see that one, but I don't normally look in just the regional stuff, I crawl nationwide these days! Ha. We could ask a mod to combine and make it nationwide in the title or would you prefer to keep it a separate Oregon one? I'm kinda used to posting only whole trucks, not that it matters what I'm used to(!) - but I'm happy with whatever board members want to do. I DID find a different, but very short, craigslist thread on here for this era, but it died out some time ago. Would have revived it if I'd found it before starting this one.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
Anybody on the east coast here? Seems you west coast dudes have no issue finding 63-66 trucks. I can't find a decent 63-66 Fleetside for **** right now around Southern PA. One 63 and the guy wants stupid money ($8K) for a truck that's finished but badly done.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
There are tons in Texas but....these folks want gold for them usually.

Here's another one in Oregon. This guy also has any part you would ever want. Just look at all the trucks and Suburbans in the background of the other pics.

66 C20 with a six/4 speed. Body doesn't appear very crusty, untouched interior (w/rips and wear). $3K Looks like a decent deal if it's what you're lookin for.

Hard to find combo: 66 Custom Camper 327/TH400 - if only it weren't so crusty.... But for $1800, if your metal skills are good, would be a gem restored. You'd have a LOT more than $1800 in it when done though. Condition aside, had to share.

66 C20 no eng/trans $3K, but with no motor, am willing to bet it's negotiable... Body/interior seems decent (at least what I could see). No SPID (I think I asked... ), seller says originally 283/4-spd. Maybe a good deal for someone that has a motor sitting around waiting on a truck.

I wouldn't post email addresses of others. He'll get a lot of spam.

very original 66 C20. I think this truck is pretty darn sweet. They're only original once, and real "original" stuff aint cheap anymore (unfortunately). http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/5970455713.html

66 C20 Custom Camper: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5991442990.html
It has more rust than it looks like based on discussion and a few extra pics the seller sent me when I originally expressed some interest - interior roof has some significant surface rust, and driver's side fender pretty shot. Probably lots more... However, it is an original white/saddle Custom Camper with original 327/granny 4 (which is why I called in the first place!). Runs and drives - being sold by a young guy (Ruben, spoke to him briefly on the phone) that doesn't have time/$ for it. He is looking to trade or sell for $3500. Not bad if the rust doesn't scare you away, especially considering it's a Custom Camper with the original 327 in it still. One of my favorite color combos. |

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/6008814748.html Looks pretty clean for $1000. the camper shell might be that much. I was wondering if it was a real ad but since there is a phone #. it just might be. Maybe he left out a 0.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
I've found some of these old timers who are used to prices the way they use to be. The guy is at least 70 years old. @ Chevy Fleetside, you're in the Bay area. You could just run over there. You NEED another truck,, don't you?

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds
I just bought one I found on CL. Plan is to make it run and drive and stop.
Yes folks, they still exist - I bought a 1963 SBFS with BBW Custom C10. Clean open SC title. ALL the fender, door and bed trim is still intact. Aluminum 1963 grille is great but missing one bezel. Custom stainless sail panels intact. Custom SW too but missing one piece. Original L6 with TOTT. Not running. Pictures coming. Delivery this Thursday 2/23/17. Here is how I found it. Give it a try where you live. In the CARS+TRUCKS section, I typed C-10, because using the dash will get different results that C10 will get. The CL listing simply said ANTIQUE TRUCK. However the person listing it filled in the other details and gave the model as C-10. |

NICE dump! BBW/350/TH400/GV over-under drive... https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/6010845793.html
I have to admit, I'm picturing it with a longbed on it...if it's the right frame length. Something is jumpin out at me... Perhaps the CustomCamper nameplate "placement". Looks low to me. Dunno. Anyway, real nice lookin truck. |
