Here are some more recent pics. Notice I painted the red hood, thanks to everyone's suggestions... :cool: I shaved the door last week. I don't have a wire feed welder, so I used Oxy-acty and gas welded a plate in there. Pretty slick if I do say so myself.

here's some pics of my 63

Lets just say mine is a little bit behind the rest of these guys. It sat in the woods for about 10 years before I pulled it out for this pic. I have done a few things such as remove the engine and trans but thats about it lol.

Neat thing about the truck is the fact that my dad bought it new in 64 and he traded it to my uncle(for 75 bales of hay if I recall correctly :lol: ) for a while before i got it back from him. It isnt much to look at but it doesnt cost me anything to sit there until it gets its time of restoring. Too many projects=bad idea.

I'm new to the forum. Had a 66 swb side step that was stollen and stripped. Bought another 66 to start over with. This one is [was] a custom camper w/work bed on it when I purchased it a month ago. Seon, over at the parts board, sold me the lwb bed off a 61. It's slowly coming together.

Here's mine. It's a '65 Custom Cab restored original with 283, overdrive, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tinted glass, and positraction.

ok, here is a pick, I traded for this 63 yesterday :metal: , it sits on a 80ish blazer frame with rear leafs moved back to fit the wheelbase. auto, dropping in a 402BBC out of my 70GMC I parted out.

heres my bucket with is new sheet metal(new to me, hood, fenders, grill)

Well just got back from paint, its a pretty good start. This is going on a 6 year project. Started out with a truck that should have been in the crusher. Now she is a survivor, sort of. Just some littel custum touches.

I have a 64 Custom cab short fleet C-10, has Mexican 350, 700R4, discs, PS, factory A/C. I also have a 70 long fleet C-10 plain jane I woke from a 6-7 year nap after the original owner passed on. Been years since I drove a 3 on the tree! Brian

i work on mine when i have the time and money,and right now time and money is short. :banghead: :banghead: it has a stock 350 t350, 373 rearend soon to be a 308, and a 84 cady tilt steering callum and 79 dodge van high back seats.

Here are some pics of my 65 panel. 6" chop done by me. lowered about 4". Ive got a TPI setup, 700r4 i rebuilt, power window kit, autoloc shaved door handle kit, power brake booster, tilt wheel, all sitting in my shop, which ill probably start workin on this weekend. only been workin on it for 1.5 months. did the chop in 5 weeks.

Well, this is my 65 panel, chopped 6" by me, lowered 3" but bags in the mail, be here next wed/thursday. Door handles are now shaved, and its all flat black. WIll have pics up very soon.

heres mine. its got a 283/sm420 combo. at one time it was a 61, but I think it has been in a few accidents in its lifetime. Im about to drop it 2/4 and put power disk brakes on it. fixed a lot of the rust, really only have to do cab corners now.

Body work about half done, chassis pretty much done, needs a new barn door and paint this winter. Thinking of modifying the rear fenders for clearance while I'm at it.

Been stripping down the :banghead: 76 C-10 parts truck to use the engine, 350 tranny, disc brakes, power brakes, and rearend on my 63 C-10.
