Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
About 25 miles from me. It's been on CL for a while too.
https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5895272651.html Right now this one is more interesting and a lot more useful. It's 2-1/2 miles from the house and I could drive it home and clear the driveway when I got here. https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5909597294.html A couple of years too new but they are COE trucks https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5890307760.html 59 Big truck https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5896737397.html |
Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
A bit rough but buildable
https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5895286832.html The box and fenders only but nice TF fenders https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5895219068.html On the bit more spendy side https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5867534245.html https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5867461058.html |
Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
That first add looks like a GMC rather than Chevy

This was my Craigslist find. Bought it sorta sight unseen, not sure I would do that again. Price was not bad though. Could not see the lovely sunroof; every panel needed a patch.. Was too much of a newby to ask any of the right questions. I have learned a lot in the process. About halfway through, hopefully painting this summer. This forum has been a saving grace. Built a sailboat back in the 80's, (no internet). Can't imagine this project without all you guys help. |

That extended cab was just in Bellingham for $2500 haha Now $7g in Oregon, ouch.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
Truck is still in the Seattle area according to the seller. sounds like a 4500 profit flip if someone bites on it. A guy might wait him out a bit though and let cash greenies talk. Week before Christmas a guy can often work a deal that is in his favor by a bunch.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
This showed up while I was searching for a 1 ton donor truck.
https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/5915001577.html Firewall looks like it was hacked for something though. And for the TF boys and girls a 1 ton dualie ran when parked. https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/5894867684.html Still haven't found that dualie donor |

And everyone's favorite. An advanced design GMC COE! Looking muuuch better than most unrestored ones out there.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
One that showed up locally both big trucks.
[url]https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/5921448597.html[/u I deleted the other one after seeing Ho455's post of the same truck. |
Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
that GMC COE is a great deal, a running 270 is over $1000 just about anywhere, and that moustache hood cant be easy to find. figure he will take 3, sell the motor, scrap the frame and you have a rare GMC COE body in decent shape for $1500. Or I guess drive it as is. :P haha, if you arent into the lowered COE thing.

Add on CL
Not sure if it is as rare as he thinks, he only wants 55,000. "by the way i know the pics are terrible BUT i wanted to point out the hood is not closed all the way and it does in fact line up right when it is... also I have a woodstove in the back that i have been unable to unload as yet so the back is covered with a tarp. this is fully loaded, big window, chrome package, napco...every option available at the time. it is my understanding this is the rarest truck gm ever made, they only made 120 of these 60 years ago and MOST were not big window, chrome package, OR napco...it really gets no more collectable than this. not a chevy or even a gmc blue chip. this is the loaded farm truck with original napco 4X4!!! serious collectors email or call for more details. not for people who want a 56 chevy they are not rare or special this is for someone who knows what it is and is interested in owning a truck that was rare top end 60 years ago when it was new" http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5902888988.html |
Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
He keeps referring to it as a "Farm Truck". Was there a GMC model with that designation?
