WTB 15x8 rally wheels

I have checked before, but wanted to try again....(shipping may be the killer here...). Anybody got some nice 15x8 rally wheels with rings and center caps they'd let go for somewhere around $150-175 shipped to SC? zip 29036? I am in dire need of some new rims and but also working a deal for selling my flowmasters and getting some different mufflers....cannot do both! I got several responses before but they were either not too good a shape or missing something, or not availible at this offer........anyways, wanted to check/ask again.

woody96 03-17-2005 01:13 AM

Anybody??? :(

cobb_ben 03-17-2005 10:22 AM

What type of flowmasters, I hjave two rally wheels, with center caps, measured them when I balanced them and the caliper said they were 6.5???

woody96 03-17-2005 12:57 PM

I have 2 chamber 40's....already spoken for though actually ;) ....I am wanting the 15x8 rallys with caps and rings....... :( I thought there would be more availible ont he board...no takers on my offer.....shipping will be an issue I guess too......

HeavyD 03-17-2005 04:16 PM

Despite the fact chev made a kazillion of these wheels I have found it tough to get decent caps and rings. New ones from Gm are way too expensive, and the repro caps are junky plastic. Are there any swap meets near your area? That might be the way you have to go.

Well, I am trying one more time :waah: ....I have had several offers but either they dried up or the seller couldn't meet my budget....is there anyone out there with (4) 15x8 rally's, preferably with caps and rings, 5 lug, that'd sell 'em for $150 or so shipped to SC, 29036....they don't have to be perfect, but would like them to be presentable and STRAIGHT........THANKS.....

Woody, are there no wheels in your local wrecking yard? Here there are tons of them (no caps/rings though) and I am sure there must be scads of them to choose from.

Believe it or not...I have found one set of 15x8's, and they were a mess! One set of 15x7's; too narrow....that's it! Hard to believe here near Columbia, SC.......I don't, just cannot seem to fine 'em here! I am thinking about asking someone that's going to the big swap meet in Charolotte (I cannot go) this weekend to look out for a set for me...... :(

beenydu 04-09-2005 08:53 AM

Any luck with your wheel search yet? I have two 15x8's that I will let go for $40 + shipping. They do not have any trim rings and the caps have painted black by a previous owner...

Let me know-
