I just set it on to see how it looked. I still need to clean it up and give it a fresh coat of paint.

As Randy on American Idol would say "Yo Dog!" Man that is slick, doesn't look dirty in the picture. Do you have the bulkhead? More pictures of different angles please.

hilljob26 03-30-2005 08:48 PM

thats pretty cool

FRENCHBLUE72 03-30-2005 08:53 PM

That is sweet ride!!! Nice top....

orange72blazer 03-30-2005 08:57 PM

I do have the bulk head, but it's a little bent up. Just need to straighten it out, clean it up and paint it. I'll get a some more pics in a few weeks when I get it all together.

sdkid 03-30-2005 11:48 PM

Looks very cool.

vtblazer 03-31-2005 08:31 AM

Man, that rocks! :metal:

Like the way it looks, very cool. :gi:

So where do I get one?

orange72blazer 03-31-2005 09:38 AM

I bought mine from one of the members here.

bouncytruck 03-31-2005 12:10 PM

Very nice. Who gets stuck in the back seat when the top is on?

orange72blazer 03-31-2005 12:30 PM

The back seat is a third seat from a 99 suburban. Right now it's just sitting on the floor, but I'm going to make some brackets up so that it's removable when the top is on.

blazerparts 03-31-2005 04:33 PM

yea, pity the foo that rides in the back on a rainy day.

WANT A SLICK IDEA FOR RAIN SITUATIONS, GO TO EITHER
KMART, WALMART, LOWES, OR HOME DEPOT AND GET YOU
A OUTDOOR FURNITURE COVER FOR A "LOVE SEAT", IF YOU
GET CAUGHT OUT IN THE RAIN, GRAB THE COVER OUT OF
YOUR GLOVEBOX, IF YA FOLD IT NEATLY IT WILL FIT, AND
THEN SLIP IT ON & TIE THE STRINGS AROUND THE LOWER
BRACKETS, AND WALA, INSTANT RAIN RESISTOR, CYA

Gyva 03-31-2005 10:39 PM

Very awesome,,,, I want one. you can have a short bed truck or a blazer,,,, the 2 BEST!

Any for sale anywhere.... anyone still make em new?

2wdBlazer 03-31-2005 11:27 PM

Looks good. I need to get working on my bulkhead and get mine painted yellow.

70jimmy4x4 04-03-2005 10:25 PM

thanks to ORANGE

I've been out of circulation for WAY too long. Glad to see the seperate area for us topless fanatics !

Just wanted to say thanks to ORANGE for the Top......it looks much better than my old one. The new one is white, the old one black....must say after putting it on, I am rethinking the paint color.

Well it's Spring and the bug has bitten once again. I think it's time to finish this on-again off-again project. (after 4 years and boxes and boxes of parts that have been collecting dust)

A quick question while I'm here.....a very novice question....what is the bolt pattern for our trucks...6-lug on mine. Any offset issues for 10.5 width wheels ??

Oh, by the way...that 1/2 top looks VERY nice...........!!!

Yukon Jack 04-04-2005 11:35 AM

Absolutely gorgeous K5!

Glad to hear that you like the top and that you made it back ok. What color are you thinking of painting your Jimmy?

70jimmy4x4 04-04-2005 10:11 PM

Color Choices...

Well I THOUGHT A gun-metal gray...but now I'm not sure....the Jimmy was Orange "out of the box......", but I'm open for suggestions, I'm not pulling-off a total restoration, just trying to relive the past I guess !
:fb: Any suggestions ??
Interior is redone in black..pretty much done, just need assembled...LOL

orange72blazer 04-05-2005 12:50 PM

If it were me I'd paint it hugger orange. I've had so many people tell they like the color.

71jimmy 04-05-2005 02:26 PM

I like the hugger orange too.

Swbman 04-05-2005 07:05 PM

Man, that makes me want one now.But the only problem is finding one.

audioholic 04-06-2005 01:00 PM

Im new to the 67-72 Blazer scene so I have a dumb question... is that half top like.. an option? Or is it custom? Aftermarket? I really like the look of it, and your truck is hot!

mokie 04-07-2005 10:12 AM

Very, very Nice!!! Does the 99 seats fit perfect. Or do you have to do some custom work?

Aftermarket but they are as easy to find as a rust free Blazer.

 LMAO

vtblazer 04-07-2005 07:09 PM

I think it's about time for some more/better pics, how bout it? :gi:

orange72blazer 04-07-2005 09:34 PM

Sorry, I just started working on it. The bulk head got sand blasted today, also got my new Tuff Country front springs and graesable bushings today. Hopefully it will ride better than with the rough country lift it has on it right now. Maybe I'll get some more pics in a few weeks, when I get everything done.
