Parting out 1971 C10 Shortbed.
Picked it up yesterday (well, it was delivered).
Info here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=149524 It's the black one. In an effort to get me motivated on building the new chassis and cab, I am ripping the running truck apart. So, let me know what you need, and we'll go from there. I am going to build a new bed for it, so the existing one is available, too. Tilt, is not for grabs. 402 BBC (Kurt said it's rebuilt) is a possiblity, as I have a 468BBC that may go in it. 10Bolt rear with 3.73's is up for grabs, too. |
hows the bed and how much?

oh ok
kind of hard to find a good bed around here :whine: |
I'll be building myself one.
This could be repairable, but I am going for NO rot. YOu could have this bed, sheet metal only with tail gate for 250.00 |
Prices
You have to give prices. AND, :wop: |

Hey Grendel, how much for the 402?

Sorry Mike, I missed this. 1K, if I decide to sell it. I am iffy on it right now. |
OK, thanks.
|
Any black seatbelts????

front fenders? thanks.

edit: Pics and changing from great shape to good, as they could use some love. 100 for both. 250 for the whole front clip, including a good radiator support, grill, outer grill assemby, headlight buckets and stock/factory transmission cooler with lines. |
any pics of the bed?

edit, here's the pics. As you can see, the bed floor is rough as are the sides. Someone more skilled than I could probably clean it up. I also have a tail gate (that goes with) in similiar shape. |
What do you have in the for 5 lug coil rear ends??? and how much?
|

250 for the one out of that black truck. 350 for the one out of the chassis that's already been cleaned up, painted and detailed. Both are complete, drum to drum. |

BTW where in NH are you. |

oh if samwise68 doesnt take the fenders and if you still have them by then i might snag those too (funds permiting of course) |

Considering this truck will never see any weight in the bed, it make make more sense. |
So, the tie rods are gone with the center link.
I am rebuilding the power steering box, it's soaking in the parts washer as I type. What else do people need? BTW, my prices are negotiable. I'd really like to get this stuff out of my driveway. The 402 is up for grabs. I am going with this, installing roller rockers back on it now: |

Now all I need is a bed front and this one's free and clear for you.
|
good to hear
and TTT for you :metal: |

A 402 is great trading material. A whole 68 4x4 truck for a motor and I will toss in the bed panel. ;) |

Please check my other post as I edited the wrong one. |

I won't be able to pull the 402 in time. Kurt's trying to get me to his house on Friday by 6am! Also, looks like I am driving to KY soon to pick up a very nice and very expensive bed floor. Still need a very nice 67-68 front clip. I think my wife would scream if I brought home another project! Need some very nice SBC heads with roller rockers and a roller cam retro fit? |
hows the frame and how much?
|
Quote:
I have the frame, cab with title, front suspension, rear suspension with a 3.73 coiled 10 bolt for 1K. However, I am open to offers to get rid of this thing. I am hanging onto the bed for 70C10swb and the front clip and interior is up for grabs. At this point, I am not even using the interior. my new cab is a bucket truck, so I am installing buckets. |
