amscholtz 09-02-2005 01:07 PM

Congrats!

3 months yet for me, they said it was going to be a girl at the ultrasound, so we are working on names.

oldraven 09-02-2005 01:11 PM

Congrats, man. Fatherhood is an adjustment, but it's a worthwhile one. :cong:

Our first just turned 3 1/2 months. :) Get them started early with the hobby, though. Then in 12 or so years, you have yourself a resident lube tech to do all your oil changes.

Now where are the pics?

Here's Coira getting to know my TurboCoupe a few days ago.

congratulations!!!!! she sounds like a healthy girl from the stats. my youngest was about the same. he is almost 3 (Nov. 13th). I love coming home from a hard day at the shop & he is waiting by the door for his evening hugs with Daddy. he's a daddies boy, anyone who has been here can vouch for that.

I second that motion. They don't like to "fool around" much afterwards :( , but it could pay off in the future. :)

Yukon Jack 09-02-2005 03:29 PM

Congratulations! Hold on - life goes real fast from here on out.

70short/step 09-02-2005 03:45 PM

enough about that, what about the "paying off in the future part". ;)
Just kidding, that whole nine month process is a complete miracle and women should be honored greatly for enduring. My wife was a complete beauty throughout all three of ours. Much much respect to every women that has accomplished this. :exit:

Perhaps it was anticipation. There aren't many burnouts going on with the intake/TB/intercooler over on the workbench. (getting ready for some new parts to do better burnouts) Besides, if I so much as started the car without strapping Coira into her seat in the back first, I wouldn't be here to tell the story. Ange would nail my balls to the wall. ;) She was just really proud of herself for sitting up for a good 15min without any help or soother.

Ok, enough thread hijacking. We want to hear more about this little lass.

:ben: :wop: :ben:

Congratulations. I raised three daughters who are now married and now have their on kids. Girls are sweet but wait till they start dating and remembering how we were when we were teenagers, that is when the father in you really kicks in and the protective side takes over big time with daughters. Girls can be very moody too. Have fun. This is (I think) where all my gray hairs came from. Again congratulations. Did not mean to scare you. Being a Dad is the best. I would not trade it for nothing. :)

My wife told me- a few weeks ago- that our daughter ( 10 months old ) will have me wrapped around her little finger!

My reply was-- " She already does "

I hope you get wrapped !

Mongo 09-04-2005 12:19 AM
