Here are a bunch of extra stuff I came across while cleaning the shop this weekend. Everything here is good stuff for drivers, no show stuff here. Well, except maybe for the pulleys, the A/C controller, and the drive shaft. All parts are $$ plus shipping. ** Vintage Air standard A/C controller, new - $50
** A/C dash center section. Looks bad in the pic, but it is a couple years of dust on it. It's in real good shape, see the second pic where the ash tray part is bent. Will straighten up easily - $10
** A/C vent center housing - $5

** Head light trim rings, 67-68 Chevy, good for a driver, one has some dings. See second pic - **SOLD**
** Various lenses. Tail light lenses look to have cracked, and have been superglued? Front turn lenses are for a 67-68. Good lenses for a driver - $15 for all
** Lower pulley, single groove, aluminum. Not sure what all it will work on - **SOLD**

** Rear drive shaft. This is a NEW rear section for a 2-piece drive shaft, made for lowered LWB trucks. The front yoke is a captured slip yoke with about 3" - 4" of travel. No more trashed carrier bearings! New, with new u-joints, never installed - $125
** Spring perches, NEW, Moroso for leaf springs, 3" axle tube (no picture yet) - $10
** Steering column lower cover plate - SOLD!!!!
** Short water pump pulley, chrome, single groove, as new except for the dust - $5

that rear drive shaft piece, you think it can withstand some off/on racing at the strip, with drag radials? Or is a 'street only' type piece?

It's a pretty solid unit, I would probably run it without question. I fully intended to do some Friday night Street ET racing at Bandimere until my truck got hit. Never got the chance to install it though. Dang drunks! :banghead:

Nate - I'll have to get those pics tonight. I got home pretty late last night and went right to bed! And yes, they are the original ones off of my 68.

I'll get the drive shaft measurements tonight. I bought this from Ricks Pickup Parts in 2004 for my 68 but never got the chance to use it since it got hit. They are built specifically for these trucks.

glock, if I'm not mistaken, is it the '72 vent windows have an extra screw attachment for the door, is that right? If so, I will have to pass.... I know that the '72 doors have an extra screw the other years don't have.

Nate - I'm not that familiar with the 72 doors, but I thought the bolt/screw just went from the inside skin to the outside skin to pull them together. I'm not sure if it passes through the vent frame or not.

Thanks for that pic!

I looked at them again, and it's obvious that it has been almost 5 years since I looked at them. The chrome on the outside is gone, if there ever was any. They are black, and kinda rough. So they might not have been chrome to begin with.
