This is a non driveable blazer parts vehicle I am selling in total for the parts---. 1972, 350V8, 4spd, NP105 transfercase, warn lockouts, front and rear axles, driveshafts, gas tank, power steering, PDB, excellent dash, cluster. It is not complete but there is still a lot there for spare or build--crossmembers, mounts, springs. If I part it out, I will sell the piece parts for a lot more then I am asking for the rolling hulk (current wheels/tires not part of the deal). $625 and I'll load it for you. Huck

I would like the power steering pump, bracket, hoses, etc. Needed to swap my non power steering 70 Fleetside 1/2 ton w/ 350 engine. I already have a power steering gear box, but let me know how much that would add shipped cause i grabbed it off a rough truck in a boneyard. Shipping to 23112. Thank you.

If you part it, I am interestd in the hot air pipe and stove.

Re: 72 Blazer parts vehicle

Can you also tell me what shape the gas tank/wiring/sending unit/brackets are in. If they are in good shape, i would be interested. This would allow me to switch to a tank in the rails and eliminate the tank in the cab, correct? Thanks for your help. Again, shipping would be to 23112. Thanks.

Will the engine start and run long enough to drive it on and off the trailer? I know you want the wheels and tires that are on it but are you going to put some old rollers on it so it can be moved around?

You mentioned a single wall top, is it included or was that only for the ebay auction? If so, what is it's condition? Any pics?

Thanks for answering the 2ed question. Now what about the first one, will it start and run? (I don't care how bad just that it will run , not locked up) I will have to line up a driver as I'm not allowed to drive that far at this time. Getting old is a *****, but it beats the other option.

ron, im about 2 hours south of huck. i dunno how far i am from you, but that might help some if we could get it this far

Re: 72 Blazer parts vehicle

Ron, Sorry--but I understand OLD that's why I forgot the first question or was that the second.??!! Turning 63 and feeling it!!
This blazer started and drove up onto the trailer in 06. I tried to start it last fall but it wouldn't start. it turned over fine, I poured some gas down the carb but no spark so I gave up. I can put some rollers on it and push or winch it up onto any flatbed trailer--no problem. Also have title, Vin plate.

CRITTER--Question re top. I have the original single wall hardtop without hatch--some typical minor concave sections on roof--best interior I've ever seen. $100. take it away.

I'll take it. I'll see who I can get to come up with me. I have a winch and as long as it will roll we can load it. Will bring cash and will let you know as soon as I can get up there. Thanks Ron

Thanks Blue 71 but I'll pick it up at Hucks place. See you at Bryan's cookout/meet.

Ron, call me so we can work stuff out--502-321-2094--cell.
I have a Kubota 4x4 tractor with a front loader we can use to push it up onto the trailer--no problem.

Will do Huck. I just found this and it's 11:32 pm. I'll call in the morning. My trailer has a winch so no problem loading. I may have to chance coming alone but it will be better if I can get a partner in crime. Talk to you in the morning.

Ron, I'm up for a road trip if you need me. Problem is you'd have to do it by yourself for at least the two hours to get home from my house back to Big Sandy.

What days work for you next week? Huck is tied up with the big show/swap meet this weekend so we agreed to wait until next week. And the storm that is coming in tonight and tomorrow didn't help. Getting to your house and back is not a problem. What works best for you?

I can be at you house on Thursday morning at 9 am. That would put us at Huck's about noon. Load and tie down won't take 30 mins so can be home early depending on the BS session that follows. Does that work for you Huck? If not we'll do something different.

Working on trailer and hope to have it back first of the week. Here are the springs you asked about.

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f99/230x/100_1708.jpg

I'll bring them when I come to pick up the Blazer parts.

Huck 03-15-2008 11:23 PM

Re: 72 Blazer parts vehicle

Thursday (3-20-08) around noonish is fine. I will have the little beauty ready to load. Plenty of room to drive in and turn around in the back 40.
Those springs look perfect--just the right matching shade of dirt and rust to blend in with the rest of the truck I'm restoring!!

Re: 72 Blazer parts vehicle

Happy days are here again. I was just heading out the door to go check on my trailer repair and the phone rang. Eric told me the trailer was ready to go that I could come and get it anytime. I went and hooked it up and headed down the road to make sure it tracked right then went back and loaded the truck he was trying to haul when he wrecked. I brought it home without any problems. So I have contacted Bryon/5150 and we can leave his place north of Nashville around 9:15 to 9:30 and should be at your place around noon +/- an hour. If anything changes just let me know and I'll do the same. Thanks.

Will be up tomorrow to pick up blazer and drop off springs. Might be a little before noon if we have any luck. Will call if I can find your number. See you tomorrow.

Re: 72 Blazer parts vehicle

I had a long tiring day but it was well worth it. It turned out to be a 660 mile round trip. Thanks Huck for a good deal on the Blazer and for making it such a simple job to pick it up. It was a pleasure to meet another Viet Nam vet and find out that we were in country at the same time (1967) and was in at least 1 operation there but we never met. Thanks Bryon/5150 for doing most of the driving and babysitting the old man. I'm happy to report that the Blazer looks right at home in the outdoor parts department.
