Well we just got home from Loma Linda hospital with my 5 mo old son. He has seizures and they cant explain why. Anyhow they have cause him to lose his sight. So the medication they put him on costs....get this.......$28,000 per month. I dont have to pay the whole thing,but I do have deductables to pay. How can they charge that much!!???? anyhow I have listed both of my trucks in the classifieds. I will be on the hunt for another chevy as soon as this clears up. Thanks

Listen up folks. The next time I whine about a scratch, dent, can’t find a part, something breaks, boss yells at me, stuck at a traffic light, yada yada yada, I’ll remember this thread. I’d suggest everyone else do the same.

Lance just reminded us that our trucks hobbies or whatever really doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Family first, Family always.

ill be keeping good thoughts for you and your family... if it makes you feel any better a friend of my wife her daughter had a similar situation and the baby responded well to treatments and shes been fine ever since treatment.. the girl is now 18 and graduating this year from high school so these things do get better

I am so sorry!!! I have a 5 year old son also and it would just break my heart!! I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, and no offense, but I hope I never have to. You and your family are in my prayers. I hope it is temporary and it clears up soon.

You guys are GREAT. I appreciate everyones concern and prayers. Yes it's a rough thing. The neurologists(did I spell that right?) still dont know what is causing him to have seizures. They are happening in 3 parts of his brain and have caused him to lose his sight. They feel that if they can control his seizures then he may regain his sight.

As far as a pay-pal, YES I have one but NO I couldnt accept any type of donations. THAT WAS VERY GENEROUS TO OFFER THOUGH. Thank You just the same. We are FORTUNATE enough to have insurance. The only thing we have topay is the deductable,still pricey,but nowhere near $28,000! Like I said, YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

Lance, sorry to hear about your son, been there done that, my son lost an argument with a log splitter when he was 10 and lost a few fingers in the process, before thatit was a hemotoma on his belly, he's great now, thank God. I am disabled, got no money and am 1 step away from got no home, but I'll help anyway!! Of course family comes first, BUT, people are important too, and helping strangers is part of who Americans are. Compassion for those in need is also part of every religon there is. Give us a way, and we will deliver as God has dictated we must. Here is how you do it. Set up an account with your local bank in your sons name with you and Mrs you as administrators, then post your story EVERYPLACE!! Here, on TV, in the papers and your prayers will be answered. I may have the crewcab sold this coming friday. I alo have a friend tha has offered to trade me a '75 C10 short stepper for the '75 K10 short fleet. But I dont think I am gonna do it.
Just got off the phone with Garit's neurologist,we are gonna try cutting back the ACTH injection to half dosage!! Hope this helps his iratability. He SCREAMS(no tears) for HOURS at a time. So hopefully this will decrease the screaming.
