I know you were talking about wanting to chop it, -and this might sound wierd coming from me- but I think it would be perfect just the way it is, but lowered all the way down like a pro mod, and some zoomies coming out behind the front wheels,

Ha ha. .

I hear ya bud! First I get her back on the road. The way she is setup now, she would run in the 14's in an 1/8th . . Ha ha.
They would laugh at me at the track!
Hey, I will take her down once! And I gaurantee I will do one Helluva Nasty John Force Burnout!

Here is a quickie... , and it would be expensive, but if you narrowed the rear more and had a deeper dish weld wheel , it would look more like a pro mod.

Re: Project: "Full Metal Yellow Jacket" Build Thread

Dang dude, that looks Sick! Yeah, I always wanted the Pro/Mod or Outlaw look. Actually were looking at fender dumps or zoomies when we were setting the motor up. We have 4 9inch rear ends on hand! 2 already narrowed and ready for install. What do you recomend for my rearend set up? Also take a look at my frontend setup, and what do you recomend for inner fenders? If I go with zoomies/fender dumps that might change things. You know I also had an idea of having my exhaust coming out the sides where the step is and having the exhaust tips cut out like a muzzle of an machine gun or an assault rifle. That would look cool. I also wanted to put an air ride system on her to lower her when I want and raiser her when I have to. There is an ole' boy at the Lowes Motor Speedway Carshows that has an green 55-57 or a 58-59 Pro/Street setup with huge blower combo sticking out close to the top of the cab with huge rear tires, a pro/mod wing, wheely bars, and a parchute that ponds the ground when the guy fires it up! It's street legal!

you could just run no inners like dinos63 has on his green truck, or you might be able to custom build a set that hugs the block, and then comes out under the frame rail.

This Cheemie don't look to bad. Don't really care for the Snorkle scoop on it. Like the blower sticking out.
Would look better if it was lowered....(slight rake look)
And another:

How cool is that! They were like 50 photos that I had!
I can put them on my flash drive too! Free!

Update:
Just more cleaning! Cleaning up the frame and doing a little undercoating.
Cleaned up the wheels, and rubbed Gojo Pumice Hand Cleaner on her.
If ya put Gojo on aluminum wheels it will help keep them from oxidising.
Me and pops do this when our vechicles are being stored or sitting for a long time.
Started cleaning a little under the hood as well!
I have alot more photos to post pre-pro/street, and during the morf.
Stay tuned!

Just some pics of my truck pre-pro/street. I looked all over the place and I could not find anymore. I guess I lost them. The truck was red and white when I first got it in 1994. From the factory I found that it was forrest green and white. She will remain Yellow.
