The editor must really have liked your style to run such a high number of pages and pics for two trucks (apparently he has good taste:lol:). The last coverage I saw from the Nats in Maggie Valley was only two pages and eleven pics.:lol:

Again, Congrats on hitting the stands bro! Kudos to the editors from Classic Trucks for recognizing class and style when they see it and carrying it on to print.

I just pulled mine out of the mailbox on the way to work. Great article an story.

Good going kids and congrats on having the trucks in the magazine.

The whole magazine looks to have trucks that can be and are actually driven featured in it this time.

Thanks everyone, my wife and I couldn't get to the newsstand fast enough yesterday when we found out. Brett (dirtball) called and said there was a thread about it so we motored to get a copy. I was really amazed to see pretty much six pages devoted to it.

Tim, it's early enough that you can't get it at a Barnes and Noble or Wally World yet.


Two unfinished trucks in a mag, just goes to show avoiding hard work DOES pay off.:lol:

I saw this thread yestarday and thought it was about his previous pictures in the same mag. I did not realize til I got home it was a full blown write up on both trucks. My 72 SWB will be real a close couisin of yours except with a big block. Your trucks look great. Congradulations.

Yeah, I got mine in the mail the other day...or more correctly, I got the front and back cover; everything else was MIA. Arggh! :cuss:

I received mine... Sweet!!! Congrats!!! How long did it take from the photo shoot till the mag came out?? It took them like a year before mine came out... I started to think it wasn't going to happen then BAM.. there it was! What a great feeling!!

Thank you, yes it is a good feeling. It took seven months, the show was the first week of June, Grant said in normally takes six months to a year and a half for features to run.

Kid, we'll have to swap numbers this year if you come out so we don't miss each other. Grant is a great guy, we talked with him all three days of the show, for quite a while each time.

I'll post the pics I have of the photo shoot when I get a chance.

I finally received my copy last night, and what coverage. That is truly an honor and to have so many pages dedicated to the pair is awesome!

Now I do have a question.... do you have any pics of the LWB you sold? :D

The wheels on it are the ones I traded for my truck. It had a semi custom interior and a 468BB. I ended up only using part of the money I got from it for my trans, the rest needed to go to our wedding, not the wife's decision, but mine.
