Harley Hauler '69 burban
 

Well iam new to this and this will be a slow bild cause iam a single father with 4 little girls so they take all the money but i will try to keep it going.

Ok i got this old suburban its a 1969 2wd for $400.00 with a trans and no motor but i have a 1972 402 big block out of a 72 chevy 2wd. well here are some pics i dont have to many yet and this is my first thread so dont laugh to hard at me.

Finally got some work dont on the burban this week. I took that top chrome off the mirrors off the orange light off the top and cleaned the frame up some here are some pic will get more later..
and i got the motor almost ready

nice motor you got there, did you rebuild it or just dress it up? whats the plans for the burban? looks like you got a good truck to start off with.

it was already .030 over and all so i just put new gaskets in it. The plan for it is to get it running then wory about the body it will be flat black with rallys painted the same color as the motor with chrome rings and no center caps kinda going with a rat rod theme

That 66 lwb looks pretty good. I had a 64 lwb that I sold to raise the funds I needed to buy my 72 suburban.

It's a special edition package for 68 Chevy's honoring their 50th anniversary. Typically for the trucks, you start looking at th 2 tone gold/white paint job, plus some other options. I don't remember the paint code, but there are other gold & whitetrucks that are not 50th models.

That is the short version.

oh i also have a progress update i primered the firewall and iam planning to paint it today or tomorrow and i forgot the camera so i will try to get some pics this week

Well no updates as of yet been busy with the kids and working and now finding another job hopefully i will be able to get on it soon

your 68 is most likely a 5oth annv i would take care of the paint and leave it because it looks to be in good shape

that pete nice, that a 285 wb? air leaf? dosent look like low air...put some pickett elbows on it get it polished. hows the inside ?
i have a 92 pete 275 wb now day cab on low air and 18 spd..

Shes a 2000 i think 265 wb iam not sure yet but it has 7 or 8 inch straits on it the inside is in good shape its got a 500 detroit with a 13 spd
