I was a bit worried until I saw that it wasn't a 6.2 and it had a center bolt 350 in there, then I had total confidence in it. I was really expecting them to have something harder than what they put them through, and I wish he wouldn't have rammed the dodge with it.

I watched it and was thoroughly amused. I've caught the show a few times and am somewhat on the fence, but I think I like it-not your typical car show. I like Tanner Faust, but the other two dip$#!+s are there for comedic effect, I think. It is a similar formula for the original Top Gear, which I like despite their constant bashing of American cars and rediculous praise of overpriced British beaters. But hey, if they didn't exhault them, who would?
But yeah, I was proud too, that despite the unfair competition (I don't keep up with the used dodge truck market for obvious reasons, but that certainly didn't look like a $3000 truck) the old squarebody prevailed.

The first 2 episodes were awful.

It has gotten a lot better.

British version is of course better but it was around for awhile till it was as polished as it currently is.

Not a huge fan of the show, but made sure to catch this episode.The smurfside kicked ass. It never looked stressed one bit.

I like the "guy with the glasses". He is just a red neck havin fun. Show kinda sucks but I still watch it... there arnt that many car shows to pick from. I liked how the chevy pulled right out of the ice at the end... It kicked ass.. TRUTHFULLY, the ford should of been a little stronger seeing as it was a 3/4 ton and all but I am glad the ****ty chevy won. I was worryed when he was talking about it beeing a 6.2....

Glad the Chevy was a 350 instead of a 6.2. The Dodge was not a 5.7 Hemi - probably
a 360. I didn't think the Ford would last as it was pretty ragged & ground clearance wasn't so good. Loved it when the big guy lost his house & the chevy ran over it !!
I busted a gut on that one!
It was a Funny show & I was amazed at how well all those trucks did ! Best Episode yet!

I think the show was silly. Throttle jockey in the ford. if the guy in the dodge tied the battery down he might have made it . they never did open the hood when it gave up. i say the battery was in the radiator. An of course i like Chevy's .

I'm a Chevy guy all the way, but it was bogus for the Ford to be taken out by a U-joint. That could have happened to any of 'em and isn't related to strength/durability of engine/tranny or the rest of the truck.
It sure was fun to see the Dodge bite the bullet, though. Cheap built POS.

I get a kick out of these guys. The house getting run over and then when they drove as close as they could to the big guy taking a dump had me cracking up! Way to go blurple chebby!!!

I agree! This show had me laughin my a55 off! It was the best one yet!! Tanner is THE car guy, the others are for entertainment. I've seen the English version and it's REALLY funny, but they've been doing it for many years! These guys are coming along well :metal:
