This is one of those situations where just because you can do something, does'nt meen you should.

Thats probably my least favorite front end chevy ever produced, but I do respect the work put into it as long as its not hacked to death.

I think this would have turned out much better with a 99-02 chevy front clip. Still funny lookin though.

This belongs in the 67-07 message board!

It's not how the color turned out that would bother me.

Makes you want to stand there and ask, is this a terrorist act against our trucks?

Different but got to give him credit for creativity. :metal: This is why we have so many different trucks. Some like Green trucks and some like Blue trucks.

I wonder how he made it fit, thats what worries me... I cant see the truck looking good in person because the fronts to round and the rest of the truck is more so square. Interesting though.

I'm sure I don't like it, but I'd still like to see it out from all the tires and other junk.

Ugly, and it looks like a regular gmc front end instead of a denali.

I'm curious to know if a board member owned this truck and posted pics, would you all be so open with you opinions? I've seen alot on here and every time it's a members truck there are passive aggressive comments like, "it's not my thing, but ok" for example. And if it's found else where, same truck, we see all the comments like, "why", "that's ugly", and "crush it, it looks like (you know what)". That's just my opinion though.

Spot on...
We should be a little more tactful when expressing our opinions. As I said it is different but we all have our creative touches.

Maybe I'll swap clips between my 01 tahoe and my 68 GMC......

But then again maybe not, that is ugly!

I think anyone that creates such a Frankenstein should be fully expecting some negative comments. Especially when doing it to a so beloved vehicle. When you go so far out there to do your own thing do you expect the whole world to accept it? Would a person think the reason no others are out there be because they are just so much more creative and it just never occurred to anyone else? You gotta have thick skin to stick your neck out so far.
It is true that negative comments with tact are one thing and outright bashing the weak in character counterpart.

That's exactly what I was thinking, just with out saying it. I have no problem, as do others I hope, recieving negative comments. But there is a big difference between constructive criticism and just saying it's ugly or a waste. I'm not saying not to criticize things, I'm just saying be a little more respectful. As others have said, this is a family site and it kind of sets a bad example to the younger group on here.
