I just had this delivered (thanks Mike, Aka fine69). Its a 72 3/4t 4x4 Suburban. Its a one owner with original paint, and 79k original miles. The guy that had it owned a chevrolet dealer back in the 70's and ordered it new. It was Fisher Chevrolet, and I bought it from Gary Fisher. It has some rust, but not bad. And yes, it has factory tow hooks!!

It has the option A52 Custom bench seat, im guessing that was the Cheyenne type interior, it has Cheyenne seat covers, woodgrain door panels, and carpet. I have to do some research on this option

Exactly, excellent example.Original owner took good care of that one. Looks great just the way it is! IMO, the white bumpers and mirrors have that no nonsense look! Please keep them painted, the contrast looks great.

Awesome original survivor Joe and I love that original documentation. Rare to see window stickers in tact from those days as they were totally glued to the glass and had to be soaked to even attempt to get them to pull off the glass. Mark

Nice Burb Joe!! . Wow those roof lights are factory?. There was a set on my 71 and I thought the PO did that

Re: Just in, low mile 4x4 Suburban!

I dont know what the deal is with the roof lights. It lists them on the spid, but i have never seen this type before? They look totally factory though. Im going to pull on off and see what it looks like under them. Not sure why they wouldnt used the small round ones like the pickup trucks used????

Joe, those are the Yankee #77 lights that GM used for years..starting back in the early 60s all the way up to the mid 80s. They were the lights that came on 67-68 trucks from the factory. They were the lights that would have been dealer installed on 69 up trucks or could be bought thru the GM accessory catalog. Maybe they continued factory use of those on burbs cause they fit the roof conture better? who knows!

Very NICE!!! I love the door panels. I have seen one set of the woodgrain inserts for burb door panels for sale, but I have never seen them on a burb.

I didn't really want this on the Suburban side, there is no traffic on there. I just wanted everyone to see a good survivor.

Do you have any idea how you got the Cheyenne type of interior in a 'burb? I have seen a few like mine, but not many

No I really don't. If I were guessing, you nailed it in post #4 with the A52 custom bench seat. I guess since the was no Cheyenne option or CST option like on the Blazer this option allowed you to get a jazzier interior on a burb.

With all the burbs on this site, I but there will be at least one or two that can back up your idea with some pics of their seats and SPID.
