Re: 1970 custom Lwb to swb
Well done changed my mind yet again I gonna leave it Lwb truck cause that truck was mostly oe except for engine and trans my freind roy said It will be worth more if I leave it orginal. Please some of you tell me ur thoughts I really need to strat this build when I got truck so it know gonna be a slow process

Re: 1970 custom Lwb to swb
Its a good looking truck, i like that color. I'm not sure it will be worth more leaving it a longbed. Seeing as you don't have the original motor, so its no numbers matching. If you do it right, a SB will be worth just as much as a LB just will make tons more work. Thats my opinion anyway. Good luck.

Re: 1970 custom Lwb to swb
Both trucks look pretty good!
You will get a good amount more for a completed truck if SWB vs LWB. If you have the frame already and are going to re-paint it you could cut down the bed. If you're not planning to paint the first one would still make a nice truck! |
