New Product - Accuair iLevel

1 Attachment(s)
I happened to be on the Accuair website and noticed that the new iLevel option has been released.

Pretty slick stuff if I do say so myself. :)

So who's going to be the first to run this option???

Delmo? Dino? n2billet?

Well if it was on the Android market now , I'd whip out the ole credit card and go first but I guess I'll have to wait a few months.

What sucks about it is it does not work with the switch speed set up. That's what I've been planning on running the whole time.

No kidding... considering the switch panel is teh same for hte e-level and the switch speed, I don't understand their reason for doing this. Well, other than to sell more e-level kits.

True, I could see why lot of guys would go with switchspeed and the phone. Looks like a really cool, functional upgrade though! When I first read about the development in the accuair blog it seemed like something you could show off with, but the popup diagnostics and ease of use for setting your saved heights seems like a really good idea!

Waiting for android...

There is a big reason Android phones make up 70% of the market. But folks on iOS are used to paying a lot for apps, too.

Re: New Product - Accuair iLevel

I guess Accuair's claim to fame is that you don't have to worry about air pressure.

Is there a reason they won't incorporate air pressure readings at each bag and/or the tank? I personally have never owned and/or operated a vehicle on air ride, but to me it would be a good fail safe to have available.

STPrider 11-26-2012 07:06 PM

Re: New Product - Accuair iLevel

Well Accuair's thinking is that it truly doesn't matter. I am in the process of installing the e-level, and I'm running a tank pressure guage seperately from my tank. I would think it would be cheaper to have a T in all of your air lines and run lines to guages in your cab than for Accuair to incorporate pressure sensors into their high-tech VU4 valve block. Rather than Accuair having to re-design, it would cost 15$ per guage, plus a few bucks in lines and fittings.

On my '69 I had a tank gauge and 2 dual needle gauges for the bags (front left/right, rear left/right). I will have some sort of gauge just for sanity.

Re: New Product - Accuair iLevel

I guess another issue I have is if your level at what ever height but your pressure is all over the map does that make a diff?
Lets say your sitting perfectly level.
Ft lt 60
Ft rt 48
Rr rt 62
Rr lt 44
Wouldn't that make it a little wonky when driving let say 55mph? Now mind you I'm only an Astro Physicist so I might be wrong lol

IMO if you are level with pressure off by more than +/- maybe 2psi, then you should check the floor in your shop for level.

My '69 was something like 45psi front and 30psi rear at ride height and while I didn't have a level system in my truck, it "looked" even. :D

i was told it wont start shipping untill dec 10th but i played with it
at sema and its very cool and yes it only works with e level setup but
they will be offering an upgrade for non leveling systems that just reflash
your ecu and controller and add in the height sensors

It doesn't seem to be available yet based on my searches of the US and Canada app stores.

Direct quote from Accuair on Instagram today "We want to thank everyone who made their preorder purchase of the Accuair iLevel. The first round of parts are in final assembly, and the app should be live in the Apple App Store next week!"

Im also in the process of installing the air ride with eLevel. I got the accuair stage 2 kit with dual compressors. I'll probably order the iLevel in the spring when the truck is actually on the road...

So is anyone running this yet? I have it in a box in the garage - truck isn't where I can even play with the air yet... just wondering how people are making out with it?

this to me is like a remote for your car stereo, how lazy do you have to be to not want to reach maybe 6-8 inches and flip a switch? Maybe I'm just old and don't get it.

How long are your arms? If I can drop my truck from 10' away, that is a nice feature. Think of it as pure pimp factor. I guess you could ask why I am bothering to put an Android tablet in my truck.

Has anyone run this system (or bags in general) on a performance truck?

Might have to give them boys at Accuair a call and see how it does with what I have in mind.

Interesting....!

I can drop my truck from 100' away and all it took was $10 worth of relays and the aux1 output on my car alarm.
For my next trick ......:barn:
Pimp Factor indeed....
