Here are some pics. Hood is rough around the corners with rust, not sure if its worth it to anyone. Cowl and cowl corners look good. Interior pieces are pretty good as well with what appears to be a factory cut hole for a clock? My brother said someone had put an oil gauge in its place, but the hole looks too clean clean not to be factory.

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
How's the driver door glass? Looks like it may be ok in the pic. If it is, I am interested in it and the passenger side vent window glass if it is good. Thanks :gmc2:

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
How about the heater switches and all their cables and stuff?
Also, rear view mirror? I have one but it's loose as heck. A bump throws it out of wack. All headed to 78757. |
Re: Parting out a 62 c10
Also, I guess I should ask how the turn signal mechanism is that runs from the arm to the switch down in the steering column?
Thanks, Scott |
Re: Parting out a 62 c10
I'm looking for a clutch pedal and actuator arm. The teeth on mine are stripped. Please let me know if you have one. Would appreciate pics and what you'd ask shipped to 90815. Thanks!

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
Just looked closer was that column a shifter column (auto or manual)? If so does anyone know how hard it is to remove or plug up the hole?

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
If your brother or the poster above me passes, I need the sleeve that picks up the shoulder/bolt to attach the bottom of the column to the steering box shaft...maybe called a steering coupler ?
The shop lost mine! Going to 01821 Thanks! |

Does anyone know for sure if the interior parts for a 62 are interchangeable with a 63? I'm thinking yes, but want to confirm it. |

I think most would interchange, although I believe some underdash stuff might differ Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
Talked with your brother and I am getting the side glass and the vent window. Are you going to use the wiper arms? If not I would like to get those. Also, what size are the wheels?
Thanks :gmc2: |

Re: Parting out a 62 c10
Great, I'll take the wipers. I would be interested in the wheels if he is planning to sell those and if he doesn't want a whole lot. Not in a big hurry for them.
Thanks :gmc2: |
