Twin Turbo and Dropmember equipped, Jeremy's '65
 

This is a build for a friend out of Bristol TN. I'm new to posting in forums so it may take a while to get caught up to the present. A quick run down of the truck: 1965 Short Bed C-10, twin turbo LS1, TH400 trans, Moser 9", 4 wheel Baer brakes, Dropmember, Porterbuilt Hood Hinges, custom mandrel bent backhalf with parallel 4-link, 22-24" Raceline billets. That will get us started for now.

Me too! That's such a pristine truck it's a shame to chop it up, although I have a long history of doing the same thing! Looking forward to the updates.

It's not a bad starting point. It's got rust in all the usual spots but we'll be taking care of all that. I'm trying to get pics loaded into photobucket so I can post more up. The build is already progressed into plumbing the turbos. I'm running way behind getting a build thread on here for everyone to enjoy. Too busy working on projects! I promise it won't disappoint.

Everybody needs to thank eldogg for kicking my butt and making me get this thread started. He helped me get everything set up. I'm way more comfortable behind a welding hood than on a computer.

While I won't give away any dollar figures most of you guys can probably add up the cost on a lot of this build. But I can guarantee this, Jeremy is one of the hardest working guys I know. He is a master of his trade and is selfmade. I'm just one of a select few who get to help with the build of his dream ride.

Can anybody give me a little photobucket help? I go to the pic I want to upload and copy the link it says for forums. But when I paste it in the URL space on the manage attachments on here it says invalid file? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Well, it looks like the cat's out of the bag a little earlier than I expected guys. I've gotten some advice on the pic posting and should have some more up later today. Until then enjoy the little preview from 64shortc10.

The orange is gonna change. Bouncing around several paint schemes right now but they all use earth tones. He decided to not go wild with paint color to highlight some of the other parts of the truck.

Thanks to some advice from powerdriver 1958 I figured out how to get my pics upload. One thing I really like about this forum and especially folk's build threads are the stories they tell with the pics and dialogue. It's interesting to me to follow along as the builds progress and the anticipation to seeing the finished product. That being said, I hope over the next few weeks to get pics posted up to the where the build is presently.

Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been covered up in the shop the last week and a half with some in and out work and the trying to spend some time with the family over the 4th of July holiday. I'll get some more pics up tonight and maybe tomorrow. Looks like lowlifej is giving a little sneak peak of the engine goodies. He's the proud owner of this project.
