I currently have two 1966;s one long fleetside, and a short fleetside in frame up process. I have owned a number of these truck's through the year's ,just like any other paid subscriber . I have posted a number of time's advising solution.s to member;s on here with intention's of helping them. I usually don't show my build's as i see it is not mandatory. If you look through my posting you will see my daily driver. i buy and sell and even trade sometime's for the item's i need for my truck's. So if you have any more question's i would be glad to answer them .

This is the short fleet , from small window to bbw, .Frame powder coated . owned since 1981.Second rebuild on this truck.

That's a good story, but when I look and see no postings or threads other than selling items it brings out my curiosity and further adds to that when you have 2 or 3 trucks in the process of frame offs, why would you sell these NOS parts rather than use them?
It just seems that there are a few guys on here that are trying to turn the site into an another ebay rather than helping each other out with fair prices.

Click on my user name to see my post's other than selling!!!!! The reason to sell gate is i bought it first before i put the blue bed on my long bed which came with a nice tailgate . I bought a new tailgate back in the day from gm for my red short bed along with two new gm fender's for the red truck[ WHICH WERE 350.00 FOR THE PAIR} and i sealed those and are still perfect after driving rain or shine since 1981, so i do not sell everything i have!!!! , so this is a extra tailgate that i hope i will never need!!!! As for my price's the forum suggest's ,if ------YOU------- don't like price's they are to skip it.I do not sell rusty junk so the price reflect's that,and i will not sell to lose money. I also have gm nos rocker's that are not for sale if you think i sell all nos part's Apparently , some guy's don't feel like they are ripped off as i usually sell everything i advertise.If you feel i am out of line ,sorry you feel that way. We could turn this into a p3ssing contest,don't think we need to go any further on this!!!!!! Oh i have nos fender's i also have on my long bed , so the advertised left nos fender is extra also, if i don't get my asking price---- and still wondering if i should sell it?????---- i will keep it.

I say pdxhall is way out of line here - a lot of members do not routinely pop up in forum discussions (myself included) but have the same right to sell spare parts if they wish. There is no basis for the personal attacks I am seeing here when it does not affect you - if someone wants to sell NOS parts it is no ones business why they are not using the parts themselves, and not any members place to berate someone like this over and over and complain about prices etc.

I just picked up a set of door's yesterday from 1966shortwide. Let me tell you this, these forums are a way for us guy's to get parts. I met him yesterday and what a great guy, I drove over 5 hours to get these and I was VERY happy with what I got. I don't understand how you can give him a hard time about selling parts in a classifieds section. He simply did not need the parts for his 2 trucks. If you don't want the parts, move on. Or if you don't have the money, don't look in the classifieds. NOS parts for these trucks are very hard to find and expensive, everyone knows that......

I am sorry some of you have missed the intent of my original posting. I don't care what you sell or how much you sell it for. My question was in reference to the code of conduct article X concerning paying to be an advertiser if your intent on the forum is to just sell parts, new or used. In the process of questioning this I also broke one of the codes of conduct by not just bringing my question up with the moderators rather than posting on the thread and I apologize for that.
