Since there's a 62 and 63 thread let's start a thread on 66's! First option year for the 327, hydromatic, back up lights, and the last year for the 194 inline 6. Here's mine for a start.

Checking in here. Here's a picture of mine the day I bought it and then a couple of months ago, before I took it down for power steering and interior upgrades. It was a factory Saddle colored truck that the previous owner primered over. Came equipped with 327 and 2 speed powerglide. Also had factory trim, chrome bumpers and aluminum grille options. Lots of work ahead still, but a labor of love.

well here's mine. '66 got a 350 with 350th automatic. not running right now got the new wheels with the right backspacing and tires on and now project stalled due to medical, hopfully not for 13yrs like first time lol. first photo before second after.

My 66 BBW with rebuilt 250 6cyl, 3 on the tree, custom trim, chrome bumpers, aluminum grill & Jr. RV mirrors.

Here's my 66. 250, three on the tree. Pretty much original aside from the drop springs/spindles/discs and its not the original 250 that came in it. Anybody know when they stopped making 66's and switched to the new body style of the 67's? I think this ones gotta be close to the end. The bed wood is date stamped 10-11-66.
