Some day I'll be able to afford'em. :whine: |
how much are they?
Like 260 a rim for 17's. Not sure about the twenties. But hey, I'm cheap. :D
no no, they are 500 a rim in the 20 inch. i ordered them the other day
well im glad someone could afford that!
Thanks for the compliments guys but it is not nearly as nice as the pic might look. .The body is pretty rusty and beat up. Hopefully that will be taken care of someday. It does drive good though. It has a four way ride pro max system from Air Ride Tech. The rear has thier four link and tapered sleeve bags. The frame has one of the bell tech notches.......it's not a very big notch. Eventually I hope to notch it more and raise the bed floor. I want the floor to stay flat. Right now the Jimmy gets all the $$$. The wheels are torque thrust II's and 20x8 and 20x9.5 or 10, I forget which. Tires are BFG's and 245/40/20 and 295/40/20.
what about the pics of that LT1?

Man, everytime I look at it again I still drool. That looks so sweet.
Not to change the topic, but what is the status with the Jimmy?? Ric |
thanks for the pics. that looks awesome!
once again, i was wrong.... user name fits.... like always!
What year car it that LT1 out of?
How much of a PITA is the wiring? |
I already had a lot of the air ride stuff that I pulled off the jimmy. I bought the four link and tapered bags for the rear. As far as labor I get billed for a week at a time and it is not broken down as to what each hour is for. So basically I can't put a specific dollar amount on it.
The engine is a 95 and only had a few miles on it when I got it in 96. I don't think it has more than 7 or 8,000 miles on it right now. The wireing harness from the car was used and modified so it was a PITA. To do it again I would just buy a harness made for the swap. |

Here is some of the recent work on the Jimmy. The floors had to have some massageing due to the new frame. Nothing will hang below the frame rail either.
