The plants are " f" is for flint " z" is for fremont ca. "s" is for st .louis. "a" is atlanta . "b" is baltimore. "j" is for janesville wi. I think "t" is for tarytown .

Another mystery, two factory invoices with B as a plant designation submitted by Atlanta Ga.
All the other invoices from J ( Janesville ) coincide.

Your Vin Number would have an O for Oshawa and would have stamped General Motors of Canada.
Oshawa was the only plant in Canada building Chevrolet/GMC`s.
Some trucks were built in the U.S. but Exported to Canada and the same in the other direction.

The first half of 1963 American Built trucks could have O for Oakland Ca. Later they switched to H Fremont. ( thank`s factorystock )

I thought I had a pic of the jam to but I remember it says 1001? Figured that just meant gmc 1000 but?
