my first square body
1 Attachment(s)
I'm new to the site and picked up my first square body recently. 1985 Silverado. It has the orig 305 and 350 trans with Edelbrock carb. It needed a brake overhaul and exhaust. It runs and stops good now. I have some rallys that im going to paint and replace these ugly wheels that came on the truck. More pics and info to come.

Re: my first square body
was this truck on craigslist recently and where is dtown tn? i think i looked at it the other day. is pretty sharp btw.

Re: my first square body
nice truck
|
Re: my first square body
This truck was not on craigslist. I found it on the way to look at a 87 that was on craigslist. This is going to be a long term project for me as time and $ allows. I want the stock look with a 2.5-4 drop.

Re: my first square body
Love the white...BTW-If those bed rails are OEM, and you don't want them they are worth some cash...
|
Re: my first square body

|
Re: my first square body
What are the bed rails worth? Are they rare? Anyone want to buy some Ultra 15x8 aluminum wheels? lol

Got the rallys cleaned up and painted. Did some trading with a buddy and scored a good seat and headlight bezels. Those edelbrock valve covers have got to go.

Looks 100% better with the Rally's, huh? I used VHT Rally Silver spray paint. The center caps and rings are original GM. They cleaned up nice. I fixed a lot of lil things in the last month. New heater core and the lil plastic piece on the blend door. Burns me out now! Put in a seat and cheap seat cover for now and fixed the regulator in the drivers door. Power window works great now. New door pins and striker in drivers door. Shuts great now. Put a piece of pex pipe on the passenger striker. No more door slam. Thanks to the tips on this site. What ya think about the dual exhaust?
