Who's selling 6 x 5.5 aftermarket wheels??

I'm trying to find wheels that I like and I still have the 6 lug x 5.5 inch pattern. I want to stay centered on the back spacing and use 15 x 8 or 16 x 8 inch wheels but I'm not finding much selection. Rally style are one option and Ion makes one that's not too bad. Anyone have any suggestions on current manufacturers?

Check with Wheel Vintiques, they make a few different styles. Check with Circle Racing too, they've started making custom wheels.

16 x 9 3/4 same as my truck as on the Airstream. Same bolt pattern. The original Airstream wheels had clips that accepted the Chevy hubcaps.

I have a hard time with their website, it doesn't show much. So, I usually look at their line at Summit Racing. Looks like all they sell in 6 lug is Rally and Smoothie wheels. I run the Rally's on my 65 but want a little fancier wheel on my 64.
I am looking at all the wheels available at Summit right now. They have an awesome search feature. Thanks, John.

Re: Who's selling 6 x 5.5 aftermarket wheels??

OK, I found 4 possibilities. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with these or have pics of them mounted up on our style truck? All 4 are 8 inch rims and 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern with zero back spacing except the last one is -6mm. The Summit wheel doesn't come in 16 inch, the other 3 do. All opinions and comments welcomed!!

What did you do with the 6 lug Torque Thrust wheels on your orange truck?
Were they 15 or 16? I haven't been able to find that style wheel in a 6 lug pattern new.

That's Rene aka C10 King. We have very similar trucks, his uses a beautiful sister to showcase it.

And his wheels are for sale

The Ultra 50/51 wheel is very nice IMO. Watch the backspacing and width. The price is very affordable too. Nice alloy wheel - not chrome - so less issues with rust or flaking chrome. They polish up very well. Here's a link to one source.

No, I was referring to the wheels on the orange truck in your second build thread.

Yes, those are nice looking too. I found their site and the 16 x 8 wheels in 6 lug come with either a plus 25 or minus 6MM offset. The 6 offset might be OK but I'd prefer zero offset.

Sorry, sold those the 1st week I had the truck. I had never seen them either. There are some better pics of them In the classified section.

What's your opinion of the 4 that I listed in post #15?

From post 15, i thought the summit legend was the best.

#3 looks like the winner and I liked it best too. Now I just need to make sure that I can find 17 inch tires that look right. I've never had a 17 inch wheel on anything so I don't know yet how common they are.
Thanks, guys.

Any pics? I'm trying to stay under 28 inches and I'm a little worried about the 255's being a little too wide. 245 would work fine but there's a limited selection in this size.
